Been very hard to find a suitable multi-vit
I have been here long enough now to realise that I need only very select vits/mins in high quality and the right doses and absolutely do not need a ton of stuff that ordinarily gets put into the std packages eg iodine / iron/E/A/boron /B plus the rest etc etc But as I try to save packaging and costs

magnesium spray Liothyronine
I take my second dose of Liothyronine at about 7.30 pm and use magnesium spray at about 10.30 pm. Should so leave more time in between? Also is there any risk of overdose and effects if used regularly? Thank you.

What has helped me lately
Hi all, It's been a while, but I wanted to come back and share some things that have been helping with my Hashimoto's lately. I last posted five months ago when I was all over the place with my thyroid med dose, feeling like I was taking too much, so I started taking too little, and had trouble increasing

TSH, T4 and T3 results - are they okay? Hair loss worse.
My Levothyroxine was increased to 75mcg at the beginning of September. I am due an NHS blood test next week via my doctors, but I thought I would arrange my own test (Monitor My Health) in advance of this. I mainly wanted to see what my T3 is, as I have never had that tested and also to see if my T4

Dexa scan
I had to have a Dexa scan last Wednesday, arranged by Endocrinologist I’ve only seen once and discharged at conclusion of the appointment. Saw GP yesterday (appt made nearly a month ago after Endo appt) who said I would need medication if osteoporosis identified in scan (as TSH suppressed!). The side

B1 Thiamine
Dear all, My mom who has Parkinson's was on 1500mg B1 oral. We moved from 1000mg to 1500mg and suddenly sleep was a problem. We then stopped B1 Thiamine and for a week. For a day or two after stopping she was doing fine. But then from day 3 to 6 she started having PD symptoms. We started her again on

Feedback on private Blood tests please, before my Endo appt..
I posted earlier this month asking for advice before I see my Endo at the end of November. I've not been feeling too great and my Endo put me on Hrt as my levels were all in range and he thinks my symptoms are perimenopausal rather than thyroid. (graves/Rai Oct 21) I feel it's a mixture of both. Hrt

Low bone density due to high levels of natural fluoride in drinking well water?
Apologies for repeating this question but I have not been able to find it on the website or any replies to it. So first question - How do I find a question that I have posted, along with any responses? But the original question - I have been diagnosed by my GP as having low bone density after a scan

FAINTS/COLLAPSES WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM?
I have been on levothyroxine since the 1980s, and last year I experienced various fainting issues in 2021 (see bio). I would be grateful for any advice anyone can offer. In August 2022, on the Saturday of the long extreme heatwave I got up at 6.30 much earlier than normal to open all windows and

Calcium needed or not…?
This is an open-end question, for which there might not be an answer. After diagnosis of PMR my Rheumy prescribed a DEXA scan. Showed mild Osteopenia. Was told to take 1,000 mg / day to help prevent degrading into Osteoporosis as taking Prednisone can progress that disease. So, started reading scientific

Suffering with extremely Severe RLS with a score of 39 out of 41 on the RLS scale. ( 1=no symptoms 41= Extreme Clinical RLS)
Hi, I'm 50 years old and have been clinically diagnosed with severe RLS by the Consultant and my GP. I have tried many of the drugs from gabapentin, repinerole, pregabin, and all of the usual drugs that are prescribed. I am on tables now for depression caused mainly by my condition. Iron at night following meds?
My question is whether the absorption of oral iron (heme iron) with orange juice at night about two to three hours after taking pregabalin will be affected by the medication. I have been reading and I know that calcium and certain meds like antacids will interfere with the absorption of iron but I don

Transdermal Calcium? Pro's & Con's?
Has anyone tried this? I've just used the calcium calculator and I probably get around 200mg a week! 🙄 Can't really see a good way to raise my dietary intake... so many restrictions no dairy, nightshades, legumes, eggs, restricted meat, gluten and certain fruit and veg, histamine intolerance....

Fibro & Magnesium Spray.
Evening all. So as I've only been recently been diagnosed with Fibro (although had many symptoms for many years ) and I've been on Pregabalin for a number of years too, I was wondering if anyone else has had much success with using Magnesium Spray?. I did some research and this was something that cropped

Muscle spasm in right hand??? Has anyone else had/ have this?
I can barely use my right hand, I am right handed. The spasms run up to mid arm. Has anyone had a similar problem. I am at my wits end, I don't know how to reduce it. I use magnesium, high doses of Nortritypline and nothing seems to help? I think the issue is coming from my neck? Neck very sore, currently
