Best magnesium dosage
I have been taking Life Extension extended release magnesium (as ZumXR magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate) 500 mg (2 capsules of 250 mg each). I understand from Daphne’s Facebook group that Mg Oxide is not recommended. I intend to switch to Mg-1-threonate. Does anyone know what dosage of Mg-1-threonate

Had paroxysmal since 2016
I’m a 68 yo male and have had 5 or 6 AF episodes since 2016 and one in the last 2 years. Docs put me on Multaq (anti arrhythmia) and Eliquis 2 years ago and the last episode was this past June was diagnosed as Atrial Flutter. Normal sinus rhythm was restored about 10 minutes after a calcium blocker

Coronary artery calcification, osteoporosis and B12 deficiency- what to do next ?
I have just been found to have coronary artery calcification incidentally when having a Lung Healthcare scan. This information was passed to my GP who wants to put me on statins (Atorvastatin 20mg daily). I have no idea of the severity or extent of the calcification, only that it was found. I don't

Insomnia - Could nightime liothyronine exacerbate it?
Hi, I've just read: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148510755/liothyronine-brands-and-insomnia. As ever the answer seems to be "it depends"! Some better on or off lio, some better at bedtime or on waking, etc. My sleep pattern is (roughly) one half-decent sleep followed by an utterly awful

Is the 4 month "sleep regression" for real?
Hi Mommy's, my boy turned 4 months and started to show show signs of regression 3or 4 days before that as google suggests. He is really struggling to sleep n cranky , i really have to hold him for atleast an hour sometimes more which is fine by me but my heart aches to see him cry like that. I typically

Water and magnesium
Just been to the pharmacy to fill my prescription and she was alarmed by the number of drugs I take and told me I needed to drink more water and take high dose magnesium marine (4 tablets)when I get initial signs of a migraine and that will stop them. Just like that! Well why haven't any GPs or neurologist

Thoughts!
So I have been looking into lots of way to healing the thyroid and coming off the thyroxine. Has anyone ever successfully managed to do this. I have been following and reading a lot of information from Gary Brecka who is a biologist and does a lot of work on thyroid function. I have started supplements

Anyone taking Anticoagulants for AF, together with Alendronic Acid for Osteoporosis?
I've got AF and taking Edoxaban. I'm also taking Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Levothyroxine.I've just been told that I have Osteoporosis, which is a side effect of taking Letrozole for 5 years for breast cancer. Alendronic Acid can help osteoporosis, together with taking calcium and vitamin

t12 and calcium supplement
I have got severe osteoporosis and I am wandering if I would be better off with a calcium supplement, I tried adcal-d3 after my zoledronic acid infusion but I had to stop because it gave me constipation, I don't want to be messing about measuring out calcium and I don't know if I am absorbing calcium

I month taking triple magnesium and no incidents of afib.
Really don't know if it a fluke or real , but I was having random afib with rapid HR. Now I have none. Taurate, glycinate, and malate. Anyone else have this experience?

Thyroid Test results
We'd be really grateful for any feedback on my husband's thyroid test results taken at 8.45am before breakfast. (Blue Horizon Gold). He has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome for 10 plus years and there is a history in his family of thyroid problems. We are trying to get a clearer picture

Vitamins B1 and Magnesium
I was advised to try vitamin B1 in addition to my usual magnesium each night. The good news is I noticed a significant difference after a week or so. You may want to try some B1 if you have never tried it before. As always aim for the best quality supplements. Good luck.
