Alendronic Acid 2 years on.
I said I'd write this post as it may or may not help anyone considering taking this medication to make a decision. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2016, having being diagnosed coeliac in 2015. My t score at the time was -2.5 in my Spine. I also had osteopenia in my hips. I was advised then to go

Clopidrogel and vitamins
Is it safe to take vitamin k2 with Clopidrogel? Does Vit k2 affect clotting like Vit K1 does? I know you have to be careful with Vit k with warfin. I take k2 with my Vit D3 & magnesium ... I thought Vit k2 was essential for getting calcium into the bones. But don’t want to take it if it is going to

Leg cramps during/after ADT.
Perhaps unrelated? I am curious to see if anyone else has this issue. After radiation treatment (no surgery) I was treated with Lupron for 2 years. About halfway through, besides the normal side effects, I developed leg cramps during exercise, even a short walk. Calcium and Magnesium levels are normal

Not Rhumatoid arthritis, not high calcium level but a hair line fracture!!
Hi all I had a phone call from my rheumatologist this morning. I was told just before Christmas that my hip pain might be due to rheumatoid arthritis, then got a letter to say that my calcium levels were high so I had to stop taking the calcium tablets. I had bloods done this week, and have spoken to

It has been over a month now since my wife and I traveled to England to get a dose of Lu 177. I thought I would give an update on what it did for me. That intense bone metastasis pain completely disappeared after about 2 weeks. It was rough going and I needed 24/7 opiates to get any relief. I weened

Results Of My CTA Cardiac Function
I think my results came back in the clear, but my cardiologist appointment isn't for -another month so I'm a little impatient to get the official results. ---- "The aorta is normal in caliber. No evidence of dissection. Some motion artifact obscures detail but the origins of the coronary arteries appear

Weird side effect or issue from T4?
I've been having this about 3 weeks. About half an hour/one hour after taking Levothyroxine, me head feels 'swimmy' a bit like if you've ever had valium or lightheadedness after a drink on an empty stomach. It's not very pleasant (a bit like a virus) and it seems to go on for the rest of the day. It

How can I get back to regular sleep?
When my rheumy told me on our telephone appointment, that he wouldn't be able to examine my painful knees and legs until six months time (due to NHS rules), I decided to pay for a private appointment. It was then discovered that I have arthritis in both knees and would need to continue with Leflunomide

I hate psychiatrists and I dont know what to do
Okay, this is gonna be a long one so buckle up! I had my first huge panic attack when I was 17. It was in class, triggered by a random dizzy spell. I went to my primary care doctor and told her about it. She immediately prescribed me .25 Xanax to take as needed and Zoloft. I didn't even know anything

CBD oil and other alternative treatmentsfor polymyalgia (PMR)?
My wife (age 58) has been diagnosed w/ PMR. She is down to 15mg of prednisone, but her symptoms are already getting worse. She is on Dapsone (antibiotic), Prednisone, Gabapentin, calcium and vitamin D suppliments, and Advil (which she says does nothing). It is really hard to watch her condition deteriorate
