Not sure if I should have started a new Post or continued my previous one - sorry! And double sorry - because it's lengthy. I duly attended my appointment with the Emergency Nurse Practitioner, all guns blazing and ready for battle. I politely requested a 25mcg increase in Levothyroxine - to be told

Almond milk and cloudy urine
Up to, say, one month ago I added a little bit of fructose to sweeten my coffee. Then, I substituted fructose with almond milk and liked it more. I noticed that my urine during the evening became cloudy. Not the entire day, but only during late evening. The other symptoms of UTI, like odor, frequency

Covid-19 and high blood pressure medication
I have just been speaking with my GP about the link between ACE inhibitors and ARB drugs prescribed for hypertension (and other conditions) and the incidence of severe Covid-19 infection (several million of us are on these meds). He said there was no proven link and these stories were just dreamed up

Advice on latest blood tests please
I’d appreciate your advice and feedback on my latest blood test results and endocrinologist visit. I have been taking 3x12.5mcg of T3 for the last 3 months. I upped this from 3x10mcg of T3 to see if any of my symptoms improved. The migraine aura I experience almost daily has virtually disappeared and

Anyone find calcium tablets difficult to stomach?
Has anyone found that taking calcium tablets doesn’t agree with them? I started taking Accrete D3 on Monday, each film coated tablet contains cholecalciferol 400IU and calcium 600mg ( as calcium carbonate 1500mg) and I take 2 a day. The excipients are hydrogenated soya-bean oil and sucrose. I’ve felt

LDH jump in CLL
Hi all. My 65 year old mom has CLL (trisomy 12), and has been on Imbruvica for about a year now. Her LDH level at diagnosis was 427 (Normal is 84-246). She has steadily declined, and over the past several months has been maintaining in the 180's/190's. Today she was 242. This is a 62 point jump since

Does anyone else find their symptoms worsen depending on the season?
When I was first diagnosed two years ago I could relate back to previous winters and how I felt. Each winter I seemed to get worse to the point I was in constant pain across my shoulders and neck (couldn't turn my head which made driving difficult), down my arms (it was thought I had carpal tunnel),
