progesterone pill - pain and bleeding
Hi I’ve been aware I’ve had endo since 2016 when I was 35 and starting to try for a baby. My left ovary had a large cyst on it that had to be surgically removed. Other than that I was told I had mild endo at that point. It the took me a further three years to conceive (two failed ivf’s) and I naturally

My pain is threefold, all on walking. 1.pain with each step can be in pelvis, hip, groin, upper thigh, can vary in place and intensity with each step. 2. Low back pain like a plank of wood

Donating at age 35, active female
Hi there! I'm looking to get in contact with someone similar to myself... another active, healthy female (I'm a runner, hiker, etc) who donated around the age of 35 (the age I will be at time of potential donation). I'm curious how long ago you donated and what your experience was like. Did you

c section
The time is almost here. 364 day since the first injection we will be in for a planned c section to deliver our twin boys. We are so excited. However, I'm still a bit nervous about the actual procedure and I’m looking for advice. What do you wish you’d known about the procedure that you weren’t told

Sensitive- she is here!!
Dear ladies, Like you, I have been regularly reading and contributing to this group, hoping that our shared experiences would help others in the way it has helped me. That’s why I also wanted to share our happy news and announce that our baby girl was patient enough to wait for our c-section date last

After Urolift Failure What next
I had the Urolift procedure in June 2021. No change to symptoms at all apart from near 'urgency incontinence'. A recent cystoscopy revealed that one end of one of the four implants used was in my bladder (rare occurrence) which has started to 'crust' and a stone has formed which has now been lasered

SENSITIVE- our dream came true
Ladies, I’m a little late updating you all but have to keep pinching myself. After all the heartache and tears our precious little girl is here. It’s been a long journey and I appreciate not as long as some, but we we’re over the moon to have welcomed our little girl in June. After all our heartache

Transplant surgery
I know the meds post transplant could/will be something I haven't yet experienced. That said, I've had 2 c-sections, the last 30 years ago so for the women out there who have had c-sections AND a transplant ...how did they compare? I assume the surgery and immediate recovery will be similar barring

TURP and Prostatectomy
I am looking at a prostatectomy, but I had a TURP 8 yrs ago. How does this change the risk factors and my potential quality of life for a prostatectomy? If I did radiation therapy, they would like me to have another TURP to remove some of the prostate that is growing into the bladder before starting

Change in Carcinoma
I had low dose brachytherapy in 2010 with seeds and success. My PSA started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose brachytherapy and my PSA is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate. This procedure

Ferrittin level (Different Opinions)
Last Wednesday (26th July) I had my 3 monthly blood test in relation to my Myelofibrosis and asked for my Ferrittin level and TSATS to be checked also. The Nurse/Clinician found Ferrittin on the data base but not TSATS and was a bit baffled by the whole TSATS thing. I concluded that I would only get

Same medicine, different brand?
Good evening. I take a calcium channel blocker called Vera-Til SR 120mg, also known as Verapamil however, this particular brand is currently out of stock and I have been given an alternative which is Half Securon SR. My GP has advised that I always stick to one brand (Vera-Til SR) and the pharmacist
