Happy One Year Anniversary to me!
It struck hours after I'd had my baby by
caesarean
section
. I was only in hospital for two weeks, and am extremely lucky not to have any obvious side-effects. The medical team were amazing, and acted very quickly when my symptoms started showing.

C-Section after gynae surgery
Hello, I have had 3 gynae surgeries: one small key hole (2 holes), a laparotomy (open surgery, same place as for C-section) and one larger keyhole (4 holes). During the surgeries we found out I have extensive pelvic adhesions and it became more and more difficult for my surgeon to 'get in' each time.

Article in daily mail suggesting women should be induced at 37 weeks?
Article in today's daily mail suggesting that research from Denmark shows a halving of neonatal deaths and cutting of cerebral palsy rates by a quarter where labour is induced at 37 weeks. Please can we have analysis of this study by Behind theHeadlines or similar? This is pretty alarming and major stuff

Confused
Hi, my name is Louise, I'm 32 And New to this sight. I discovered a painful lump under my c-section scar about 2 years ago, ignored it for a bit, but it got worse, like a very sore pain if that makes sense, very bloated, couldn't stand any clothes over my tummy. Went to the GP who sent me for a ultrasound

It's gone
I was diagnosed with stage 4 peritoneal cancer June last year at 42 it had spread to my lungs and chest, I also had tumours laying on my liver & diaphragm. I had 6 rounds of carboplatin and taxol followed by what the surgeons called ultra radical surgery it involved a full hysterectomy, a liver resection

First post
My BMI is 26.4 so I am overweight. I was always underweight until I got pregnant with my first child 5 years ago. I gained 70lbs during my pregnancy. I have had 2 c-sections and I don't know what to do to lose this weight. I know I have to eat healthier, which I am going to start after the holidays.

Problems with my placenta
I'm now 27 weeks and been told by my consultant that I have a problem with my placenta. My baby is very small and they are talking about giving me steroids after my next scan on the 4th December. She also told me that she would try to get me to 34 weeks before she performs a c section but it may be before

Life Almost 5 years post Group B Strep?
I would like to first hope and pray that I do not scare or offend anyone. But, I would love to get thoughts, prayers, and offer advice help and guidance for others. On February 3, 2010 me and my then husband welcomed a pretty little girl into the world, and we named her Julianna. We were so happy
