Where can I VBAC?
Hello, I am Gemma and I'm looking for somewhere to have a natural birth after c- section. Preferably in London or West Sussex. Any ideas? I think most hospital-attached birth centres wouldn't accept me because I have had a C-section and I am 36. I would like a home-from-home feeling. Are there any affordable

1st Lap yesterday, no endo found but adhesiology done....
So I had my first laparoscopy yesterday for suspected endo and adhesions. As mentioned in previous posts I had my first child via c-section so I was told this would increase my chances of both endo and adhesions. My symptoms are inline with both those of endo and adhesions. My gynae came to see me

Adhesions between uterus and bladder
Hi ladies. I had a laparoscopy today and the Dr found adhesions between the uterus and the bladder (caused from c-section 5.5 years ago). These pull the uterus to the bladder. He suggests another op even open the tummy to remove these but this can cause more scaring. He is concerned in case of another

Endo after C-section
I’m from the US but this forum has been a big help for me! Question: has anyone delevoped endo/symptoms after a c-section? I never had health issues or endo symptoms until I had my son via c-section in 2016. Took over a year to finally be diagnosed with stage one endo. It just doesn’t make sense to me

Appointment with consultant about birth options for second baby after difficult first birth
Hi everyone We were lucky enough to fall pregnant on our first round of IVF after 5 failed rounds of Clomid - we experienced secondary infertility after conceiving our son naturally nearly 4 years ago, and I was subsequently diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. I’m currently 18 weeks. I ended up having

Why does nobody listen?
I had my first lap last year after seeing 4 different consultants. They found endo in a lot of places but didn’t remove any... I was put on gnrh analogue decapeptyl injections and referred to an endo specialist at another hospital. I have a mass in my abdominal wall that they believe is an endometrioma

2nd IVf fail in two months... is it me? Do I try a third or is this my body saying no
Hey guys just found out today that yet again we have failed our second frozen ivf transfer with donor eggs. I’m so angry and devastated. Our donor is 21 years old and everyone raves how great her eggs are but why won’t they implant? I swear this time I felt like I was pregnant until about day 4 when

C-Section & Bupa coverage
Hello, Apologies - this is a long post, attempting to explain my issue 😰: It looks like I will have to have a C-section delivery for medical reasons - which I’m gutted about 😳 It’s my first pregnancy and so far nothing has gone even remotely how I had imagined it... 🤷🏼♀️ The policy at my busy

My dad had a TURP surgery on Monday. Was doing decent then yesterday he seemed flat. Went to ER and there was a clot in Cath. They gave him a bigger one. He came home and was lifeless. Ambulance had to take him to ER again later yesterday evening. He can’t put 2 words together - does not know his name

Placenta previa.
Hello. So at my 20wk scan they discovered my placenta was fully covering my cervix. The sonographer told me that it's fine it'll just mean a c-section.... OK.... They booked me in for a scan at 34wks to see if it had moved and a consultation (which seems pointless now as I've been told it won't move)

Is there a list w/summaries anywhere for clinical trials?
PLATO, ARCHES, LATTITUDE, STAMPEDE...I'm losing track (and my mind). :) On a personal note, we are home. The TURP went well and my husband had almost no bleeding. He said he felt better after the procedure than before. They cleaned out the clots in his bladder again and gave him an IV, so I'm not surprised

Can I discontinue Zoladex after I year instead of taking it for 2?
I am 77 years old and was diagnosed with prostate cancer through a biopsy taken during a TURP in August 2016. After watchful waiting the PSA started rising to 10.3 by April 2018. A biopsy and PSMA PET showed that I had a Stage T3N0M0 tumor (with a Gleason 5+3). After a Zoladex 0.8 injection on

Girding our loins for another surgery
Doing TURP tomorrow. My husband is still not fully recovered from his two-week stay following his kidney stone issue. Worried about his serum albumin going into this, but the surgeon thinks he's good to go and he wants to do it. Wish us luck. Hopefully he will recover well and we can move on to whatever

A Medical Adventure - HIFU
So glad to be back home from Germany after HIFU treatment. Alan had to have a TURP to remove calcium deposits followed by HIFU the same day since calcium deposits could have deflected the ultrasound beam. He had five days in the hospital. No suprapubic catheter needed and the catheter he did have came

Dad with prostate cancer
Hi, never knew this forum existed and I have been reading a lot in the last week. There is so much information here and appreciate reading everyone's experience. Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in January 2017 with a PSA around 110 and a CT showing enlarged right prostate

Pregnant after a c section
Hi I was wondering if I can get some advice . Although I have been a member on here since May 2018, it is my first time actually writing a post. Any how I gave birth to a baby boy via c section 8 weeks ago, I was told by the medical team not to get pregnant for a year. However I am not sure but I might
