no help🥺
Recently raised Levothyroxine to 75mcg per day, from 50mcg. Still tired, can’t exercise. Only keep my job as I work from home, which is going to change soon and I need help. Been like this since 2014 and always told tests normal NFA. Paid for my own tests and found T4 low. Finally after years of trying

First lab results after returning to T4 mono therapy. Comments and suggestions welcome.
On 18 December 23, after two and a half years on T4 / T3 dual therapy, my lab results were: TSH: 0.604 mU/l (Range 0.2 - 5) 8.42% FT3: 3.04 pmol/l (Range 1.8 - 4.5) 45.93% FT4: 12.7 pmol/l (Range 7 - 20) 43.85% I had been on 75 T4 and 10 T3 for six weeks (and 88 /6 or 12 for months before.)

Thanks so much to everyone who replied to my previous post! I feel encouraged by your good wishes and suggestions as to possible ways forward. I'm away from home at the moment but next week I'm definitely going to get back in contact with the specialist gynaecology nurses to see if there is any ongoing

Help interpreting results
Hi, apologies for long post. I’m a 34yo female. I’ve had symptoms that line up with hypothyroid symptoms for years. Had a few tests when my eczema flared up really badly around 12 years ago, which coincides with the time that a lot of the symptoms began. Have had fatigue basically since catching Epstein-Barr

Suppression of TSH but low T4/T3 levels whilst taking Levo/Lio Combo
A few years ago, my thyroid results were looking a lot better but NHS GP over the last 2 years has told me to reduce my dosage twice (because of the 'risks' of overtreatment). I'm now on 100mcg levothyroxine (75mcg supplied by GP and topped up by myself) and 25mcg liothyronine (self-sourced). I now don't

Insomnia - Could nightime liothyronine exacerbate it?
Hi, I've just read: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148510755/liothyronine-brands-and-insomnia. As ever the answer seems to be "it depends"! Some better on or off lio, some better at bedtime or on waking, etc. My sleep pattern is (roughly) one half-decent sleep followed by an utterly awful

It was recommended that I started

Do you think I need an increase in my T4 dose???
Hi all, I have hashimoto and hypo since many years. I take T4 medication ( 100 mg) every morning. The brand name is Euthyrox ( the version which has mannitol and citric acid instead of lactose). This is my thyroid test results after 14 months of no tests at all due to lack of medical insurance. I was

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'd love some advice, please. I have MS - I was diagnosed in the late 90s. I'm lucky that it hasn't affected me badly (yet), but I do suffer from pretty severe nerve pain. I managed it with Co-Codamol 30/500 for years. I'd been prescribed 8 per day but rarely took more

High Folate with PA terrible GP
Hello everyone, Im afraid this might be a little long, but i hope someone can help me. It has been a long and upsetting morning. It started with a 630am ER visit for excruciating groin/hip pain for past 6 days and very hard to walk. Anyway, I'm confused. Some of my tests came back surprising. I

T4/T3 conversion
Can anyone recommend a good supplement for T4/T3 conversion please? My T3 blood tests (Medicheck) have been in the 3's since Covid - apart from a brief period when I hit the dizzy heights of 4.4 - but I've always been 'within range' so no chance of getting T3! I am currently waiting for an MRI (10

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Hi everyone I have had hypothyroidism for a number of years and have been on 150mg of thyroxine. In the last month I have lost over a stone and my recent blood test showed my TSH was 0.07 and Free T3 & T4 normal. The doctor has told me to take 150mg 6 days a week and 100mg on one day a week. This doesn
