Chest pain, sore throat and fatigue
For the previous 10 years I’ve been able to
exercise
without any
breathing
issues at all. I’ve been to numerous specialists and after various lung function tests they have confirmed I do not have asthma, and that my lung function is very good, even though I’m in pain.

Psychological factors
Hello! Hope you're all as well as you can be. I'm looking forward to a few weeks of relief between the end of summer and the beginnings of the cold weather. Quick question relating to my last consultant's appointment: Have any of you got any relief from your symptoms by working on psychological factors

Breathing exercises + allergies
Hello, My asthma has been pretty good since I came off the steriods a few years ago (I was on them for 11 months, blew up like a fish, gained 3 stone!!), aside from the little blips here and there. But recently I have noticed a decline in my asthma. It started a few weeks ago with a chest infection

So confused...my doctors can't decide if I have asthma or not...
My
breathing
also would get worse when I
exercise
. Sounds like asthma huh? So I just feel really confused. I've been tapering off all of my asthma drugs, prednisone and 3 other inhalers. But the funny thing is I'm terrified.

Many of the posts on this site are naturally dealing with problems and answering issues, but every now and then, perhaps due a medication really helping, or sometimes by taking advice about a trigger, or a slight adjustment progress is made to beat asthma. I thought it might be nice to have a thread

Yoga and Pilates
Hi, I tried to search for some information on this, but couldn't find anything - so I am sorry if this is a repeat question. I just wondered if anyone has tried Yoga or Pilates and how they found them? Did they have any impact on your asthma, or were they useful for breathing exercises and stress

Buteyko Method
I just wondered whether anyone had done this and found it helpful. My partner has noticed that I breathe really quickly and shallowly, especially at night, even when my asthma is better controlled as it has been over the past couple of weeks. I'd like to try some breathing exercises because I suspect
