The next step
Hi Nice ladies, I have been on Taxol but because of side effects decided to try something else. The neuropathy seems to be increasing with this. Doc agrees, suggested other options; Eribulin, Tamoxifen or Gemzar. I am leaning toward Tamoxifen but need to think about it. If you have any input I welcome

Lumpectomy
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I haven't heard about my lung CT yet but have to also have a Lumpectomy at the end of February. How sick am I ?
I have had several FLOW tests in the past, which include a measurement of the percentate of cells having CD19+ markers. This % was around 11% when first diagnosed in 2014 and was last recorded at 29% ub 2017. I am led to believe by my old oncologist that this CD19+ percentage value represents the

In need of advice/hope after a big bleed
Sorry for TMI ...Around 48hrs ago I had really heavy bleeding, some in the bowel and filled up a pad in minutes. At EPU I wiped a big clot too. Somehow, miraculously, the little guy was there oblivious with a heartbeat and measuring spot on (i am almost considering taking up religion!) They did an US

Tinnitus on Ibrance and Letrozole
Hi ladies, has anyone developed Tinnitus whilst taking Ibrance and Letrozole? I spoke to my Oncologist today and he feels it’s unlikely the meds are causing it. He said it’s rare. He wants me to have a hearing test. Now I’m concerned in case he takes me off the meds I have been on for near to years and

New lesions and change of treatment.
Hello ladies, I am a very quiet member of this community, although I read your posts and root for you almost every day. Today I have a question. I was diagnosed MBC de Novo last year with mets to bones. The lesions seemed to recede and disappear with Ibrance/Letrozole combi over six months, but a recent

Anyone on Ibrance have lowering haemoglobin and rising liver enzyme AST? Concerned it may be cancer in marrow....
Hi all I've been on Ibrance and Letrozole since MBC diagnosis in August 2019 to bones and marrow (after primary bilateral mastectomy, immediate lat dorsi reconstruction, chemo, rads, and Herceptin in 2010). Stable CT scans since, but now AST liver enzyme rising, my Ferritin (which is odd with low haemoglobin

Diagnosis
I have grade 2 invasive ductal breast cancer. I have 2 cancers, both in the right breast. Both are progesterone and oestrogen receptor positive, but one also has the HER2 protein marker. Because of that I get the entire gold package; surgery, reconstruction, chemo for 6-12 months with hair loss counselling

Need your opinion
I always try to be upbeat about my posts. Don't post often, but enjoy reading about the strength of all of you warriors. I was diagnosed in 2016 with a very small cancer in left breast. Had lumpectomy and 21 rounds of left breast radiation. Like so many, I thought I was done. I was told recurrence

Joining the Xeloda team next week
Scan show progression to liver - although my lungs are now clear. So with sky high and doubling CA15, we are switching to Xeloda this week. Nervous but grateful for all the information here. How many of you are on this? For how long? Do you still work? I own a business and until I can sell it I am stuck

My history of diagnosis
I am 63, husband and 3 kids, the youngest is 17. I ad cancer and full mastectomy of my left breast on December 2005. Chemo, radiation, the whole process. December of 2020 I've been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Shocking, I thought I was done with cancer. I am now halfway through

Waters breaking at 30 weeks (PPROM) - twins
Never out of the woods with this "journey"! Ugh, can't sit back and relax for one moment and think it's all safe. On Wednesday my waters broke. Quite a bit earlier than expected! Called the maternity assessment centre who checked me over and confirmed my waters had broke and my cervix was open 1cm, and

Ibrance, anastrozole, zometa side effects
This past week, week two off Ibrance because of low WBC, I felt a heaviness in upper chest, breathless, and consequently, sky rocketing high blood pressure. I called oncologist but all they heard was "chest pain" and "can't breathe" and sent me to the ER. 7 hours late and countless tests, I emerged

Gabapentin works!
After weeks of awful hot flashes, changing sheets in the middle of the night and mostly not getting any sleep, I had decided to give up and let nature take her course and come off the Ibrance and Faslodex. But someone posted that gabapentin would help! It did! I also found Bentyl for my stomach

Ibrance following SBRT radiation to two bone mets?
Hi everyone, my mom recently had SBRT radiation to two tumors (thoracic and lumbar spine) followed by a kyphoplast procedure last week as precautionary against future fractures to her lumbar spine from the radiation. She just started fulvestrant and her oncologist is recommending she do ibrance as well
