🤖 ChatGPT on Cancer-Fighting Exercise💪 vs PCa
ChatGPT, the free AI research tool provided by OpenAI, is surprisingly good at summarizing some topic of interest that one might be interested in. I submitted a long question this evening on "
exercise against metastatic prostate cancer progression
". My goal is understanding exercise in an environment

liver Mets, Pluvicto failed
diagnosed 2021, spread to distant lymph nodes. Castrate resistant within 6 months. Had platinum based chemo. Stabilized for bit. 4 Pluvicto treatments. PSA went from 4 to 70. Latest scans show new mets to liver. Genetic testing shows ATM mutation. Where to go from here?

I have a lipoma in the middle of my brain and have headaches, limb weakness and some other issues but can't find anyone to relate to..... thank you

Heliocare
I am going to post this and everyone can do with the information what they want. I wanted to bring this dietary supplement to everyone’s attention especially those of us who take meds that put us at higher risks for skin cancer from our meds. Heliocare is a dietary supplement I have kept seen coming

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
Mr. Spouse 21, ten years since dx with Gleason 9 in 80% of cores, has only had bone and CT scans to track progression. That's how it was done in 2014. He's been stable since chemo with his current Eligard & Xgeva treatment--see full Profile for his record of Lupron, radiation, Zytiga (failed), Docetaxel

Surgery vs SBRT Cyberknife
I posted this in the Advanced PC group and shouldn't have, as my Hubs is not in an advanced stage. Posting here in hopes of more input! I apologize if you are in the other group and have already seen this! Hubs diagnosed 11/15/23. 2 of 12 positive. Gleason 6 and 7. PSA 3.7-4.2. Met with Surgeon first

biopsy - fragmented cores and progression risk
I had 3 biopsies from January 2020 to July 2022. The first two almost identical being Gleason 3+4 with <10% 4. However 6 months post HIFU it was Gleason 9 with 4+5 with 10% 5 and 70% 5 (see below). I am curious as the cores are fragmented and so it’s hard to know what this means and if it makes any

Maintenance Chemo
I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrioid cancer five years ago. I went through chemo treatments: carboplatin and taxol. I even had IP belly washes of taxol. They are not doing these any longer in the US. Sadly, my cancer reoccurred six months ago. I was cancer free and in remission for five years. The

PSA testing comparison question
I know that PSA results can vary, particularly if processed by different labs. Knowing this, I do have a question. Quick recap, I completed 20 rounds of radiation at UCLA with Kishan back in April of this year. At the same time, I began 6 months of ADT. Over the past few months, while getting my

PSMA scans and radiation of oligometastases
I need some advice on a subject that I know has been covered before: PSMA scans and radiation of oligometastases. G4+5=9, RP in 2014. Positive margins, IMRT and ADT in 2015. PSA undetectable until 2019, now slowly rising at 0.40, doubling time 11 months. My questions/concerns about the scan

Confused by Decipher Test
Hi all, new here. I signed up to finish reading an article and then saw these posts in an email to me. What a great resource for men with prostate cancer. My PSA went up to 4.4 and then had an MRI which showed a two suspicious lesions (PI-RADS 4 and a PI-RAD 3). Had a biopsy 3 weeks ago and it showed

Please send me some positivity.
I have just had the results of my CT scan and I have been told I have a recurrance in one para-aortic lymph node. I will either need surgery (if they can), chemo or radiotherapy. I'm so scared as this is my first recurrence from Stage 4 ovarian cancer and I'm only 56 and have two teenagers. I can't

Abnormalities on the CT 6 months after Chemo (while on Niraparib) CA125 at 4.9, anyone same experience?
Dear ladies, Background : IVB HSOC Jan 2023, Debulking April 23, last chemo June 23, on Niraparib since Aug 23, diagnosed at 40 yo (now 41). Now CT shows small abnormalities: They saw 2 nodular abnormalities on CT scan, (16mm) suspecting local recurrence but they do not know for sure. Also they noticed

Biopsy results in 2 weeks - questions?
I've finally got an appointment to get the results of my prostate biopsy on Monday in 2 weeks time. It's taken quite a while. My PSA was 12 and an MRI scan showed a dodgy area on the front of the prostate. My PI-RADS score was 5. I was then booked for a biopsy which got deferred 3 times. I was told I

Surgery vs SBRT Cyberknife
Hubs diagnosed 11/15/23. 2 of 12 positive. Gleason 6 and 7. PSA 3.7-4.2. Met with Surgeon first, "slow growing, non aggressive" he believes is contained by looking at margins and pathology. Met with Radiology Oncologist, "favorable intermediate risk, non aggressive" he believes it is contained. Both
