A bit of background - In October 2021 I had a rapid and florid relapse following the end of my Ibrutinib treatment in FLAIR so I was started on Acalabrutinib with no effect and also had investigations for Richter's. Tests showed that I was resistant to the currently available BTKi's (two synergistic

COVID Fatigue compared to B12 Deficiency Fatigue.
I tested positive for COVID 12 days ago took Paxlovid for 5 days. Thank you Pfizer scientists including creating a way for some applied scientist/medical to not screw it up. Improved for 7 days then experienced rebound for three days. Thanks again Pfizer scientists for gathering and disseminating

Y'all did it again. Thank you!
So I was DX with chronic swimmers ear and told all I could do was treat with alcohol and vinegar. I read here about blocked Eustachian tubes and did some reading. So far I have been able to self treat with trying to pop my ears and swallowing. If I can not keep up I know the next step is to buy Otovent

awful cough before transfer- can I take anything?
Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing ok on their journey. I have my transfer on Monday morning and have the worst cough I’ve ever had, it’s so chesty and painful. I just wondered if I could take some cough medicine or anything in advance of transfer or if it will affect my lining or chances? I

On day 9 of buserelin injections (although I took the wrong dose for the first 3 days - not enough) and experiencing incredible exhaustion. Have had early nights all week and went to bed last night at 7:30 so had nearly 12 hours sleep! I know

IVF vs ICSI

Where on earth did nursery rhymes come from 🤔
Well, here we are W6 done! 25mins - never thought it would happen We chose a less undulating riverside run, perfect day of warm sunshine and a gentle cooling breeze. Pupsters running alongside, diving off for the distracting sniffs every now and then. So, watch set (I don’t run with my phone) niko

FLU VACCINE
I am in the UK on Venetoclax and have just spent 5 days in hospital with COVID. Is it safe to have the flu vaccine and is it hit or miss whether the vaccine is actually for the strain of flu which is going to be around this winter

Hi All It’s my first ICSI cycle and my first time using any kinda of forum so I’m looking for a little advice please? We had 2 embryos transferred on the 6/11, 1 was an early blastocyst (too early to grade) and the other a compacting modular. as you can see from the test below Day 8 gave us butterflies

5th Covid Vaccine has affected me
Hi I was advised to take up a 5th Covid Vaccine and I had it last week. In the last few days I have been feeling unsteady on my feet, Has anybody experienced this? I was given the Pizer Vaccine. Because of this I have not taken my Metraxate injection. I thought I would hold off for a few days. Worried

Out of Remission
Well, I got some not so good news today. I had my CLL check today and I'm out of remission. My WBC is now 14K. My platelets are 152. My doctor wants to start me on Zanabrutinib now. I know it seems silly when just getting out of remission and I'm not even close to a WBC of 30K yet, and I have no other

Pentamidine?
I am on V + O treatment. My last Obi infusion is July 3. A month ago I developed a rash on my chest, neck, and face. My oncologist had me stop Bactrim to confirm it was the culprit. The rash cleared within a week. Now he has me scheduled for an oral inhalation of pentamidine. I am concerned about this

Hello all of you HU people ~ I am the wife of a PwP, dx 12/29/2020. Our history ( very briefly) ~ left sides tremors and anxiety, mostly. We tried B1 HCL ~ didn’t work. Tried Thiamine mononitrate and that seemed to work for a while Recently I took hubby off all B1. None of them seemed to work
