Fib-4 score 0.66
Hello Everyone, please advise if fib-4 score is same as fibro scan score. Mine is 0.66 or 1 32. I am worried sick about it. It says the score is intermediate. I think I have terry nails, itching and dull pain. Is this mean that I have advanced cirrhosis? My blood test are normal.

Hi all, so I had a review yesterday and went over things and one big thing was smoking which I know and I'm trying to stop I'm just finding it very hard. The other thing she explained was my blood tests and feno tests I have had never show signs of inflammation of my airways so whilst I do have asthma

Advice before speaking to GP
Hi Everyone I am asking for advice before I speak to my GP. All advice gratefully received. I know when I posted my last results on here people said my high cholesterol was possibly due to my Thyroid levels. My TSH was 2.5 (range 0.27-4.2) which people here said was too high as I’m on Levothyroxine

Elevated red blood cell count
Morning all I've had a couple of blood tests since Xmas and both show a slightly elevated red blood cell count. I don't smoke and the GP seemed concerned but hasn't offered any ideas. Now I wonder if its thyroid related and if when I'm properly medicated that might reduce? Also see elevated hemoglobin

TSH slowly creeping back up.
I’ve been here before (the forum) but lost all my logon details so I’ve re-registered. I’m hitting the usual brick wall with my GP, so I’ll try once more before I do something I’m unhappy about, but I’m getting desperate. Briefly, my TSH is slowly increasing. By which I mean that my most recent results

Ferritin Questions
Hi everyone. I self inject b12, 3x per week. I also take a daily dose of methylfolate. In the past both of these have been extremely low, along with very low ferritin. Of late I have wondered if my iron was dropping, so requested bloods a couple of weeks ago. Folate happily is pretty good at 19( at

Hi everyone, I am on 100mg Levo and 15mcg Lio daily and I feel OK. As I have an appointment with my endo soon, and doing NHS blood tests is rubbish due to the timing issues, I have just done a private blood test. I know my Endo is going to focus on my TSH which is negligible but my T3 and T4 levels

First antibody test results
I was diagnosed about 19 years ago with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Every now and again I ask for various blood tests to be repeated to rule out any underlying illnesses that could be masked by the ME (blood count, kidney/liver function etc). On a few occasions over the past 7-8-ish years, my TSH

Hyper/hyper thyroidism?
Following recent scan of saliva glands, which were normal, my thyroid was noted as being “dark”? As I had a partial thyroidectomy 40 years ago and do not take any thyroid supplementary tablets, any clues as to what may be going on. Symptoms, normally attributed to my age, are extreme tiredness

Finally spoken to endocrinologist 1st in 20+ years
Got to chat with the endocrinologist (not the one I'd hoped for after seeing list on Thyroid UK) I had to really concentrate as English not her 1st language but we managed to have an in depth chat over the phone. Anyway my doctor referred me as didn't want to put my levo up from 100 to 125mcg luckily

Tiny Levo increase but FT4 well over range
Just got results back from MMH. I’ll add historical results for comparison but they may be irrelevant as I am where I am! I take Levo only. Ranges were 3.1-6 for FT3 and 12-22 for all tests. 2021 on 100mcg TSH 0.01 FT4 24.9=129% (12-22) FT3 6.5=91.89% (3.1-6.8) Note: insomnia much improved
