Crisis!
I've just spent 50 minutes waiting on the phone to speak to a real human being at my doctor's surgery to try and make an appointment to speak to the respiratory nurse, to book a blood test for suspected diabetes and to get my heart checked out. After 50 minutes and being told I was in position number

Hi Folks, Been dealing with getting on an even keel with newly experienced B12 deficiency since the middle of last year and with the ignorance of GP’s. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism several years ago and am on 50mcg of levothyroxin. But I now want to get an up to date view of my thyroid health

Really upset with my GP
I had a telephone appointment with the GP today, I said as i will have been on 15mg for 3 weeks on Friday, I would like to go down to 12.5mg, so would need some 2.5mg tablets. He downright refused and said I have a blood test in 3 weeks and he will look at that and then decide what to do next. I told

Hypo, Hashi's, Menopause & Testosterone
My last sex hormone blood test showed my testosterone at
1.91!

(range of 0.10-1.42) This concerns my Endo doc who has been amazing treating my thyroid issues, but has now informed me that AFTER
age 60
you shouldn't BEGIN hrt. 😪 So, that's out of the question for me since

Dr hasn't diagnosed Hashimotos?
Hi I had some
blood
tests
in June 23 due to feeling very run down and catching viruses regularly that we're hard to shake. I did not know at the time exactly what tests the doctor ordered but he rang me up to say they they had detected a "potential future problem" of hypothyroidism.

Hidden Illness, a poem in anticipation of tomorrow's guidelines
In the crowded margins of society we live with silent sickness, ailing, slowly dying. With this illness there is no absent limb, cardiac arrest or stroke, not cancer nor a dread disease, but a disadvantaged sickness, fatal slow-burn like a quiet fizzing fuse, symptoms general and disabling.

Confused
I had the Monitor My Health advanced thyroid test and I shared them with my GP who said that because I’m already on Lego, the TPO test is irrelevant. My TPO result is 64 so if m already n Lego, isn’t that a concern? I’m experiencing symptoms such as weight gain, cold feet and hands, inflammations

Possible Down's Syndrome after PGT-A testing
Hi all Looking for some advice from someone who has gone through the same or has knowledge of it. I am currently 18w5d pregnant with an IVF baby. I underwent PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I thought that with PGT-A testing, that all Chromosomal abnormalities would render the embryo aneuploid

I did PGT-A testing, could my unborn baby have down's syndrome?
I am currently 18 weeks 5 days pregnant following a successful IVF cycle. I undertook PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I got a call today from my midwife advising that my blood test has come back with a higher chance result for down's syndrome. I thought that as PGT-A testing was done and showed

Downs Syndrome and blood tests.
I know I should know this one but wondered if others could advise. My youngest is 13 and has Down syndrome, at some point in the past I remember being told that her blood test had shown antibodies . Was assured that everything would be monitored and being a stressed out fool took them at their word

Yellow eyes (symptoms)
I have most if not all the standard symptoms of hypothyroidism. I am diagnosed and on meds (recently just upped from 25mg to 50mg) However I have recently deteriorated in my symptoms which started before my uplift in meds, the 25mg was the first 3 months and got bumped up to the 50s after my first blood

We would like LDN patients to participate
You could be asked to provide
blood
test results if available. The
tests
will look at markers for aging, immune, and general health status. Participants will not be asked to stop or change the dosing of any your medications, including LDN.

Interesting study on combination of statins and metformin in high-risk patient outcomes

Graves blood test / getting proper root cause diagnosis and right treatments
No one has touched my neck for goiter... let alone scanned....even though I am being treated for silent reflux/ LPR due to my saying my voice was going.....the thing that triggered all the
blood
tests
as there was concern of cancer.
