tests
were 'tell the patient all normal'. I monitor my
blood
pressure regularly and results are consistently lower than 130/80 Can anyone throw a light on this symptom? I realise it may be totally unconnected with my PMR.

After Radioactive iodine treatment, what do I put on travel insurance docs?
Over the course of 2023 I had repeated
blood
tests
, and now I take daily levothyroxine. So I assume I am no longer classed as having Grave's. What do I actually declare on my forms for Travel health insurance?

Active B12 gone down
I know that
blood
tests
after injections are considered pointless but I had an iron test privately yesterday that included active B12 and my results came back as 36pmol/L (if I’ve got this right it converts to 48.7 ng/L). I’m surprised it’s not increased since injecting (I inject EOD).

SAR Form
I have had some
blood
tests
done, and the surgery now says I need to fill in the above form. In the past, I have always gained access to my data when I call into the surgery and ask for a print-off. Not sure why they're asking me to fill this in. They say it's the new rules.

Hello, just wondering, does anyone with Raynaud's and Limited Scleroderma have elevated Gamma GT readings in
blood
tests
? Mine are always high. Doctors always ask if you are a drinker (usually they mean a heavy drinker), which I'm not.

'Routine' appointment to discuss thyroid results?
I had some
blood
tests
about 10 days ago, one of which was thyroid function. I've had the same in the past and usually no follow up call. Today I've had a call from the GP to book a 'routine' appointment to discuss the results. Is this something they start doing after a certain age?

Normal LFT but consistent pain
They ordered few
blood
tests
. As per doctors my LFT is normal. I don't even know how it will help me. My LFT was normal back in January as well. I have lost nearly 18kg since January.

There is an article in the Mail: “Blood tests say my hypothyroidism is under control. So why do I feel so exhausted? Ask DR MARTIN SCURR”

GP discussion re too much B12
Her GP finally agreed to see her face to face but insisted on
blood
tests
first and has now called her in to discuss her high levels!!? She is anxious about the appointment and I have given her a lot of information.

diabetic patient uncontrolled vomiting and constipation
We did lot of
blood
tests
and ultrasound of his stomach. Everything came normal but his symptoms are getting worse day by day and he is feeling very weak. We are totally lost without any kind of support from the doctors as they say everything seems fine but it’s not fine.

How to wean off omeprazole
I’ve just had some
blood
tests
done prior to some surgery and the results show there may be a problem with vitamin B12 levels. Hmm, I take 20mg omeprazole daily, in capsule form. Anyone any idea of the best way to come off this? I believe I’ll have to gradually wean off it?

Why does my rheumatologist want me to go onto Methotrexate when I am on a low does of Prednisolone and am getting good symptom relief?
I'm hoping the the
blood
tests
that I'm due to have don't shown raised
blood
sugar as well. My rheumatologist thinks that even low doses of steroids are harmful.

Update
I see him again in a month, with
blood
tests
before. He's also writing to rheumy to update him. Pain under control, vertigo not good and sleep not really happening. Thank you all for your advice and encouragement.

Angular Cheilitis?
Ive also read it could be folate levels but I think this may be checked on my monthly RA
blood
tests
? I've sent a pic to my GP today but wondered if any of you suffered from this too? I'm also suffering with bowel issues of which I'm waiting for a CT scan.

I had an under active thyroid, been taking 50mg levothyroxine for 1 yr, 3 blood tests since all show perfect levels but I can’t lose weight.
Even though my
blood
tests
show that I’m on the correct dose of Levothyroxine since having a hemi-thyroidectomy, I cannot shift the pounds, even though I am eating very few calories every day.

Medication
I've recently had
blood
tests
my gp has called me in for an assessment. I know he's going to push meds on me. Their main concern for me is triglycerides I'm borderline diabetic. Has anyone else found this issue with side effects. I'm dreading going to be honest. I'm in a good place at the moment.
