Thyroid private blood tests - new company
Hi - A couple weeks ago someone posted a new company offering thyroid tests that have blood drawing clinics in London and is very reasonably priced. I have just had an unfortunate experience with Medichecks as the clinic I chose in London had no appointments for over a month. I am being issued a refund

Hep C test
Hi there I read on this website which is a local NHS remote sexual health testing service for Northern Ireland that Hep C can take up to 9 months to be detected in a test? Is this correct? On another page on this same site it says up to 6 months. I have also reached out to them to ask about this issue

I’ve had 3 rounds of chemo gem/carbo but missed 2 of gem on its own. Scan showed some reduction and stable disease. But I’ve been admitted to

B12 level help
I’ve been having symptoms of low b12 so I got my levels checked. They are 119 pmol. The lab where I got them taken says normal range is 25-170 so they said I am fine and in range but everywhere else states I am deficient and low. I had a b12 injection and instantly felt better. My question is

I have been recording my results and I really don't understand what I need to do as my next step. Here is a snapshot of my results for last few years for better understanding

Just starting the journey…..
Hi All, I have recently been diagnosed with GCA, at least that’s what I am now being treated for. My story started in early Dec 2023. I am a very active 60 yr old, previously doing triathlons, still cycling, swimming, walking etc. The first symptom I experienced was excruciating pain in my hip flexor
