Endometriosis and other auto-immune conditions in women: the brain-uterus axis
There is a high frequency of posts that mention endometriosis here, so I am posting this article for all those people affected. The author posits a “brain-uterus axis” as a hypothesis that can explain why women suffer much more from auto-immune conditions than men do: https://amp.theguardian.com/society

not PCa related but promising in vivo therapy for cancer metastasis
”The polymer eliminates colorectal cancer liver metastases and prolongs mice survival, after only a single-dose therapy. The findings were published in Nano Today, a leading journal in the field of nanotechnology.” https://m.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/article-795801

Complementary Therapies - Your Experience?
My standard of care drugs are doing a great job of keeping my PSA down, but it would seem inconsiderate not to look into giving them a bit of help. I'm investigating these "adjunct" therapies with anecdotal or research evidence showing potential action against prostate cancer, and I'm just wondering

Fennel Seeds
Hi everyone, I've recently done some research into fennel seeds, and I've read that apparently it contains a compound called Anethole, which helps to relax the muscles in your digestive tract. I was just wondering if anyone here has eaten fennel seeds before and can verify this. I am looking for ways

After 7 years, and multiple PSMA scans, my husband had a FDG CT scan and it showed what they quoted as “several” metastasis In the lymphs In the para aortic area in abdomen. Gemtesa for hyperactive bladder control
Hi, Gemtesa is beta-adrenergic receptor medication, is not anticholinergic ditropan like Oxytrol. IS anyone has good experiences with Gemtesa (which is a new drug). to control the frequency and urgency with aggravating the RLS? Thanks for your replay.

Increased Methotrexate causing bloody urine/stools.
This time next week we'll be waiting to board the plane! Yesterday I notice what I think is frank blood in my urine and stools. Today it's still there and after telling Mark I've done a little online research and think the answer is my recent increase in Mt injection. I've been alternating between

Latest update on son
Hi all, some good news & some bad. First bad news - since my last post son has had further problems following catheter insertion error. He had quite a lot of bleeding & discharge which resulted in a 14 hour stint in A & E & urgent follow up referral with urology. Falsepassage way error had resulted

Genetic therapy: for solid malignancy hopefully soon
ok, I post them also because they are fellow Italians! But the platform is very promising even if clinical use has been approved only for glioma and glioblastoma at the moment. But there are clinical trials going on for solid tumors, prostate included. https://www.genenta.com/wp-content/uploads/2021

Gastroenterologist Consultation
After waiting since last autumn I've finally spoken to a gastroenterology consultant. This was an a phone appointment with my local hospital - something I've not done before, but it worked really well, much better than I expected. The conclusion, for the time being, is that my IBSd is definitely related

When to introduce ADT after RP failure
I'm progressing well on Triplet Therapy coming up 12 months after Chemo and comparing myself to my brothers situation. He doesn't belong on this advanced prostate group but I hope his cancer does not advance to the point that he does! Diagnoses Biochemical failure following radical prostatectomy

Repeat Lutetium/ Pluvicto treatment
Hello all, I am just curious if anyone has experience doing additional lutetium treatments. I did three lutetium treatments from September 2021 to January 2022. My Denver oncologist is concerned about bone marrow toxicity , but he does not have enough experience with this treatment to say for sure.
