Repeating All Autonomic Studies as a Result of Out of Control Heart Rate and Labored Breathing - Any Thoughts?
I was in the ER today with a heart rate of 230 BPM. Breathing was labored. Everything checked out fine. My movement specialist has ordered full battery of autonomic tests to determine progression of my previously diagnosed autonomic neuropathy or MSA. Any thoughts?

Great news, I can stop taking Lupron
My Oncologist told me today that based on my latest PSA reading (0.01) and scan results, to hold off having my next Eligard shot next month to see what happens to my PSA level. Effectively active surveillance. It was music to my ears, he told me to go on vacation 👏👏👏👏. 12 months ago I went to the

Any experience or knowledge of men's Liberty External Male Catheter by BioDerm?
My husband has urinary incontinence 24/7; wearing Depends; doing the basic Kegels. This follows blockages, 2-1/2 months Foley indwelling catheter & after removal total incontinence. Has anyone tried this device or know anything about it? Guess I'm clasping at straws.

OC that has spread to the pleura
So a recent ct scan shows that there are tumors on the pleura around my lungs. I have MPE (Malignant Pleura Effusions) and have for some time now. I am scheduled to start Alimta, but before I do, I'm exhausting surgical options as chemo doesn't work on me so well these days. I had a consult this

Constipation in my 3 year old
So this has been going on since my daughter was 7/8 months old and she's now 3 almost 4! She's constantly constipated, she will stand and scream in pain that she can't poo, it's made toilet training so hard and she's tried so many medications, she's now on movicol which helps but not much! I sit and

New cancer-fighting method leverages the mechanical force of T cells.
Immunotherapy is a promising weapon in the fight against cancer. It has proven to be much more effective than chemotherapy and radiotherapy in treatment of some cancers. The drawback is that it manages to cure only about 20% of patients; the remaining 80% do not respond to this kind of treatment. “But

Hard prostate
I've given myself a couple of DRE's. On the first one, nothing felt unusual. On the second I noticed it felt hard all over. I read that this is an indicator of PCa. Other symptoms = rather sudden ED, inability to orgasm, minor discomfort in perineum area (which could be imaginary) when sitting on hard

Cystoscopy and hydrodistention
Has anyone had a cystoscope and hydrodistention (stretching of bladder) whilst under general anaesthetic? I have stage 4 endometriosis and now suffer with pain every day. I’m more terrified of the pelvic pain I’m going to experience afterwards as it’s sure to aggravate the surrounding areas than I am

BAT, dutasteride, and my search for truth, Part 1 of 2
I have received many helpful comments on my queries about BAT and dutasteride. Overall, the evidence favors continuing dutasteride during BAT (Nalakrats opined “I would use to defend against DHT, which would be increased. And I would watch E2, and not let it get out of the 20's.”) But I have trouble

I believe it was Patrick who said “When 5alpha-reductase acts on T to produce DHT, this kicks off production of an enzyme to clear DHT from the cell. DHT has a very narrow window in which to promote growth. One of the metabolites of DHT is an estrogen - 3beta-adiol - which happens to be the natural

Good news following mediastinal lymph node query
I thought I would post some good news. Husband's latest CT scan (regular scan) shows the mediastinal lymphadenopathy 'resolved' and nothing new showed up. PSA at 1. He has no pain, just the awful mood swings/depression from the ADT, so lots to be thankful for. And ..... there is a covid vaccine on
