My consultant has said that they won’t know for definite which had most impact until they do a liver
biopsy
. 10 months after being diagnosed I ended up in hospital for a week following hepatic encephalopathy incident. Unfortunately no one had mentioned that being constipated could cause this.

just want some advice…
This all started following a colposcopy and punch
biopsy
of my cervix due to abnormal cells in November 2022. Within a couple of days I was in a lot of pain and was diagnosed with a UTI and severe thrush which I treated.

ECE and CRIBRIFORM FOUND IN PATH REVIEW OF MSK BIOPSY BY UCSF
has anyone talked to a pathologist that reviewed or did their
biopsy
? 4
. The ECE is not even clearly indicated , it is NOT DEFINITE & HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS FOR EXTRACAPSULAR EXTENSION should it be an important consideration?

Hi I'm just about to start my first round of IVF and have been asked whether I want to participate in genetic screening where the do a

Biopsy Questions
Biopsy
questions: I had been on the site a few months ago inquiring about surgeons in SoCal after my first MRI. Took a bit of detour and changed urologists. I wanted a transperineal
biopsy
with a local, and he was looking towards transrectal or TP under anesthesia. Nahhhh. Decided to go with Dr.

5 failed transfers and looking for hope (and NK cells…)
Next stop is to test for uNK cells via endometrium
biopsy
which I can’t say I’m looking forward to. I’m 39 in March and starting to loose hope. Is there anyone out there who got their baby after having 5 or more failed transfers.

Hello everybody and Merry Christmas
I had a
biopsy
of the lymph nodes in my back whilst inside a CT scanner and they wanted to do one in my spine but the consultant doing the
biopsy
decided this was too risky. PET scans and a
biopsy
of my hip also followed.

Post biopsy doctors visit
So yesterday me and my husband had our post
biopsy
visit. The doctor confirmed the diagnosis of IGA nephpropathy. He is going to start him on Losartan 50mg twice a day to lower his protein output. He will take a blood test again next month to see how he is doing on it.

Ulcers in terminal ileum
Hi, I've posted on here a couple of times, so I won't repeat myself! I had my gallbladder out in June 2020 and developed severe diarrhoea. GP referred me to Gastroenterology (currently going through the IBD route for a diagnosis as my calprotectin levels have been elevated). I had my second colonoscopy

Swelling after biopsy (following penile cancer and circumcision)
To check the cancer hadn't spread I had lymph node
biopsy
. Thankfully that came up all clear but that was 11 weeks ago and I still have swelling.

I recently had a FNB(fine needle
biopsy
) on a mass (13x12mm) in my right thyroid bed, the surgeon in Liverpool gave me the results, which at this present time is confusing me🤔Firstly my blood work shows primary hyperparathyroidism. Bloods taken June 22nd 2023.

Can any Urologist do a transperineal biopsy?
Hello, My Urologist normally does transrectal but he has done a few transperineal (TP). I told him I may want to go to a University center where they do hundreds of TP biopsies. He replied that any Urologist can do a TP, "it's not rocket science". Be interested to hear if any Urologists on the

PSA dropped...why?
Biopsy
in August, 3+4=7. 7 of 15 cores noted with cancer. PSA just checked on Nov. 8 and came back 3.9. Why such a drop? I am not on hormones yet.
