Prostate Biopsy
Hello everyone, I have had 2 biopsies in the last 2 years (the last one was in January 2023) with the latest one showing 1 out of 12 cores positive for Gleason 3+3 and another core suspicious for cancer. It was also noted on my last MRI that I had a bladder outlet obstruction. My PSA went as high as

32 year old wife diagnosed with F4 Fibrosis over biopsy. Can still it be reversed only with dietary changes ? Please pray for her.
Doc again suggested for
biopsy
to get the confirmation about autoimmune and cirrhosis. However before
biopsy
I went for MRI which didn’t showed the cirrhosis. It again created more confusion and later we went for
biopsy
with a result showing consistent with cirrhosis and Autoimmune ruled out.

RAI failure... worse than previously.. advice please
Had a failed
biopsy
and been subclinical for a while... had RAI at the end of Jan. Now worse hyper than I've had for ages, including thyrotoxic myopathy which was so bad I couldn't get out of a chair. Really stressed about this- I'm 51 and usually fit and active.

I’m sure I’ve now got GCA
I was suspected of having GCA 16 months ago when I was diagnosed with PMR ,but the
biopsy
I had after being on 100 mg of pred for two weeks proved negative.

PSA 9 , age 66 , is there an alternative to biopsy ?
He asked me if there is an alternative to
biopsy
. I told him that there may be something new since I last had a
biopsy
in 2009.

Cough, chest pressure, GCA
I am being treated for GCA, but had a negative
biopsy
. I am now taking 40 mg of prednisone and will drop to 35 mg tomorrow. My first rheumatology appointment is May 16. I am in no pain but I am very fatigued and I continue to cough, especially when I speak, and have chest heaviness.

More worry
😟 Report from recent endoscopy appeared to be all good, however there was a "possible" Barretts Tongue seen and so
biopsy
has been taken to rule Barretts out.

Incredible Pred Tale
He had the
biopsy
as he was losing his sight (which is now fine).Back on 60mg and now down to 2mg already. He expects to be totally pred free this summer. I can't believe his experience and he can't believe mine as still on 2mg after 8 years!

Biopsy "sliding scale"?
Hi,I am going to have a
biopsy
tomorrow and they have asked me not to take my insulin [type-2 dka] as " may need sliding scale" but not sure about what this means? I'm ok to take my other oral meds. I am trying to avoid Dr Google as this has caused more unnecerssary worry than needed, thanks

Joy in response to frustrating news
I had a bone marrow
biopsy
to see if I was at uMRD and could come off my second CLL treatment in 5 years. The tests were sent to the wrong location and after hours of run around treatment on the phone to get it sorted, gave up.
