Can you help us understand the experiences and support needs of adults after meningitis?
We are conducting an online survey, with the health and social care charity Picker, which we hope will help to improve the aftercare and support provided to people who have been diagnosed with meningitis and have spent time in hospital. To be eligible to take part you must: • Live in the UK • Be aged

Hi. I have a kidney infection at the moment, im just finished an antibiotic for a bladder infection but back pain was still there so I went back to GP and turns out bladder infection progressed into kidney infection-another course of antibiotics. Bronchiectasis and Covid
I have Bronchiectasis and have been ill since beginning December. Just feeling better beginning March and got Covid. How many weeks should I wait for Spring jab? Feeling ‘my normal’ now.

Fertility clincs abroad -Donor eggs
Hi All Looking into using doner eggs abroad, does anyone have any recommendations of any clincs they have used. I've researched a few in Prague, costs for icsi are very reasonable and its not to far from the UK and flights not to expensive. Any tips or recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance

Navage?
Many of us (most?) suffer from sinus issues and we have our own tools to deal with these issues. My weapons of choice are Saline spray followed by Flonase before I go to bed. Works pretty well except for right now during allergy season. However, I've been hearing many advertisements for the Navage

Shingles vaccine
My husband has been called in for a shingles vaccination. Am i correct that he should ask for a non live vaccine as the love vaccine poses a risk to me as I am immune suppressed? I seem to remember hearing this somewhere. Still struggling to get answer fro my nurse advice line. Thanks

Enerzair Inhaler
Has anyone come across this inhaler? I’ve gone from Fostair to Relvar and now to this. Haven’t started it yet but does this suggest I’m now on triple therapy? It’s a bit disconcerting to be on what appears to be a pretty strong inhaler a year into chronic bronchitis. I feel it leaves little room to up

MSA and Covid
I was wondering if anyone else had the experience of their loved one deteriorating significantly post-Covid infection? My dad was walking around still and fairly able to take care of basic things, but then he got Covid and that essentially put him in bed and weakened him significantly. And that was 6

Implantation failure?
Hello everyone, This was my first attempt of IVF and it has been (as everyone knows!) the most stressful time of my life. We tried to conceive naturally for quite a long time (about 6 years) and after being checked, apparently nothing is wrong with either of us. However, we've been recommended IVF/ICSI

going to Italy
I am going to Italy early May. Here in NZ I can’t get the new booster shot before I go because it’s been 2weeks short of 6 months since I had Covid. So of course feeling pretty nervous. I have well controlled CLL on ibrutinib. When planning the trip it seemed likely I’d get the booster but there’s

Worried about hand
I'd like some advice please. I have had RA damaging my hands and wrists for a long time, but I've never experienced anything like this before. My 2nd and 3rd fingers hang down, they won't straighten. My hands been like this for months. It feels like something's snapped, torn or disintegrated on the back

More long Covid
Another article on long Covid. Nothing new, but still it's striking to see the similarities with B12 with neurological symptoms. Especially the problems with doctors. https://www.hcplive.com/view/no-one-left-behind-the-long-covid-crisis-2023

GP failed to inform me of Chronic Hep C positive test result for 7 years?
I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep C in 2007 after my GP requested a blood test, as I was suffering with shortness of breath and severe anaemia symptoms. The results came back saying I had "chronic active hepatitis". Now, I would have thought that due to the severity and the fact it was a "Virus" that
