documentary on Netflix about the gut
They mentioned
autoimmune
diseases
. It is, apparently, a huge area of research right now. I took some takeaways for myself which is to eat the rainbow! 30 different fruits and vegetables every week. Anyway it was very interesting

Study investigating journeys to diagnosis recruiting people with lupus, Sjögren’s, and/or UCTD
A new study is investigating why it takes some people a long time to get diagnosed with systemic
autoimmune
rheumatic
diseases
(SARDs) like lupus, UCTD, and Sjögren’s, but other people have a much shorter time to diagnosis.

Levo and fever as side effect?
I've had a low grade fever for a few years and vaguely blaming it on one of my
autoimmune
diseases
but it didn't really fit with my diagnoses. It just occurred to me to look at levothyroxine side effects and both fever and heat intolerance are on the list.

started Besremi but worried about autoimmune diseases.
Hi, Happy New Year to you and your loved ones ❤️. Underwent full assessment for the ECLIPSE PV trial. Incidental findings: ANA antibodies 1:80, Anti-RNP 2.2 (confirmed twice), and thyroid antibodies (Hashimoto's). Asymptomatic, low risk. Started Besremi preventively for any future progression. systemic scleroderma
Autoimmune
diseases
- bit of a slippery slope - a paediatrician friend once said when I shared my 4th autoimmune diagnosis. Now I fear I’ve got another to add to the list! Does anyone also have Systemic Scleroderma?

hEDS and B12 comorbidity?
I recently saw a rheumatologist and whilst we’re waiting on test results to rule out other
autoimmune
diseases
, I think she was strongly hinting at hEDS with COVID as an exacerbating factor. Is there a link between the two?

Med suggestion?
hi all- I got diagnosed with a couple other
autoimmune
diseases
recently and in addition to that, my early sjogrens panel just came back positive. They haven’t done any biopsies/scans, but the ss-a and SS-b were negative. I have super dry eyes and mouth along with fatigue and neuropathy.

Sjogren’s without dryness?
I recently changed rheumatologists and had new full bloodwork for a second opinion and he confirmed my diagnosis as I don’t have symptoms or bloodwork findings to point to another

but is closest to Sjogrens?
