Worst episode ever, waiting for answers
Hello all. I'm 24 years old and in the middle of my heart journey. About 2 years ago I noticed that my heart was pounding quite a lot when doing any mild exercise such as walking or going up flights of stairs and I also got other symptoms such as loss of vision, lightheadedness etc. I take Propranolol

Is this Afib or Normal Palpations?
For awhile, I’ve been feeling skipped/extra beats sometimes induced by anxiety and sometimes after I eat. The ones I experience after I eat are the most intense, usually flip flopping and my anxiety increases it even more. My immediate thought was if this was Afib and I immediately panicked. Received

First 10k run 🏃♀️ since AFIb diagnosis. Hope for us all 🤗
Me & my running buddy Belle one of my pigley wigleys. Spreading the positivity. I wanted to share with this wonderful group that on Friday I ran my first 10k since my AFIb diagnosis last July. I returned to running in November following the OK from cardiologist & just took it steady. Some of you have

Stopping Flecainide
I’ve decided to stop Flecainide since I haven’t had an AFib episode in 5 months. I’m staying on Xarelto, of course, so what’s the harm? I don’t like the long term effects of being on Flecainide. Has anyone else stopped their anti arrhythmic to test whether they no longer suffer from AFib?

Ablation and travel
Hello everyone! Just found this site as a lay awake. (Not sleeping well lately). I’m having an ablation under general anesthesia this Wednesday. I’d planned to do it after a planned trip to the Grand Canyon but I had another episode of feeling like I would black out so the doctor moved it up sooner.

My experience, 8 weeks post ablation
Hi all I wanted to share my story after I found the information in this forum super helpful. I had an ablation done both for Afib and Flutter exactly 8 weeks ago. During the past year, prior to the procedure, I hardly had any episodes after I had been put on Flecanide and Diltiazem. I went for ablation

Anticoagulants
Since I am new to Afib, I am wondering, is everybody on anticoagulant meds? I only take Aspirin 81 mg a day.

Aflutter getting me down.
Hi I would like some advice. I have had Afib for 5 years and was managing well on Flecanide. I had the odd breakthrough but as a whole I coped well on the drug. Then I developed atrial flutter out of the blue. I am not sure if Flecanide caused it or not. Since then I would say things have been tough.

Eligard/Leuprolide no effect at all
Hi, Had my first shot of Eligard (6 month dosis Leuprolide) 3 months ago and got my PSA test today, which was 13 3 months ago it was 6,5. It seems like Eligard/Leuprolide doesn't work for me. Before my first shot of Eligard I was on Bicalutamide for 2 years which had effect the first 1½ year. Isn't

Pain while AFIB episode
AFIB - My biggest concern Pain and discomfort in the heart area while AFIB episodes started. And I still have this pain for a while even after I am taking the Bisoprolol and/or Fleciadine Wander, how those AFIB influence on my heart function or destroy my heart muscles ? Needs to relax , stop

Nebivolol
Anyone any feedback on this for AFib? I’ve just been prescribed it as I couldn’t tolerate Bisopropol. Under warnings/precautions it is citing it may hide high heart rate as in tachycardia and Thyroid (presumably hyperthyroid patients). Tablets are 2.5 mg and I have to take half a tablet daily.

Glutaminase inhibitor trial
There were some posts recently re the possible role of the glutaminase switch in leading to castration resistance. The following trial - A Phase II Study of the Glutaminase Inhibitor Telaglenastat (CB-839) in Combination With the PARP Inhibitor Talazoparib in Participants With Metastatic Castration-Resistant

ADT vs physical castration pros and cons
I understand that unlike a physical castration which cannot be undone , adt can be stopped. But if someone has to be on ADT for life or chooses to be on it for life for fear of a recurrence of the cancer coming back or growing if it never enters remission, does a physical castration offer benefits?

Am I in AFib ?
I live in Greece and was diagnosed with Afib in 2018.
