When is a second ablation advisable?
I was dx with Paroxysmal Afib in 2018. After the usual regimen trials of just Metoprolol, Flecainide, Flecainide with Metoprolol for rate control, etc. I received a Cryoablation on March 16 of last year (2022). I had two afib episodes a month or so after the ablation which was explained as being in

Cancer takes another brave man
My wonderful husband passed away yesterday after fighting the beast for 15 years. Gleason 8 all but one core positive. He was so strong tried so hard, 2 clinical trials radiation, Zytiga, Xofigo, lupron for the entire time. Finally at age 65 his body could take no more, he lost over 40 pounds, no energy

Autovaccination seems a hot topic lately: Mt. Sinai autovaccination technique to turn cold prostate cancer hot (Phase 1)
ok, I am exposing myself to j-o-h-n in more than one way with that title... This is for regional leagues (locally advanced PCa), while we are the NFL of prostate cancer here, but the fact that a cold cancer was turned hot is very promising as it has always been the main limit of immuno therapies applied

Thyroid nodules surgery survey (BTF)
Posting this because helping with research is often a good idea. However, there are only three days to go! I've only just noticed it and have not gone through what they are asking for. [i]

Bisoprolol and low heart rate
As my heart palpitations were becoming unbearable, I finally agreed to try bisoprolol, just 1,25mg daily. Well, the good news is that the palpitations and the breathlessness have almost gone . The bad news is that my resting heart rate is down to 45 in the afternoon, going up to 58 when I'm active.

Should I lower flecainide dose to 1X per day instead of twice a day.
I have both a cardiologist and electrophysiologist since my first episode almost five months ago. I have lost twelve pounds and almost to my BMI weight recommended by the cardiologist. Drop in BP
I am wondering if any of you afibbers have had extreme drops in your blood pressure when you are in afib or even when you are not in atrial fibrillation ? For the past 24 hours I’ve been in and out of NSR , mostly out. After a rather busy day, I got home unloaded a plant from my car, walked to backyard

Starting clinical trial of AVR-766
Today I start a clinical trial for ARV-766, an AR degrader. I'm coming in at phase 2, and they are only accepting men who have one of 4 point mutations in the AR - I have two. I've been randomized to 300 mg pill, once a day. The other dose is 100mg. I've failed ADT, chemo. Keytruda & Pluvicto. Hoping
