After cardioversion
It wasn't the same as usual when he has had Arrythmia but for severe
atrial
flutter
and it was a rushed job in A & E where he was only partially sedated so he felt it. His heart rhythm/ speed is back to normal but he feels rubbish. Normally after the procedure he feels well again.

Atrial Flutter ablation blanking period?
I had a PVI ablation at the end of July, which my EP says is 'going well' in that a Zio monitor fitted because of continuous tachycardia that developed and what I thought were AF episodes, has shown NO AF, just
Atrial
Flutter
. Good news!

2nd Ablation
Inducing AF induced
Atrial
Flutter
with a very long cycle due to slow conduction across RA. Further ablation required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence Av Node ablation should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place.

I have finally been diagnosed and informed over the phone. that I have AF &
Atrial
Flutter
. Have been put on the list to see an EP but have been told there is a long wait. Been taking Bisophorol & Edoxaban for a few months now. Initial blood test but no review or discussion about this.

ECG can anyone take a look at this for me ?
I’m wondering if it’s
atrial
flutter
? If anyone can advise or suggest what it might be that would be so helpful.

Good evening Diagnosis is
Atrial
Flutter
and various options given by a nice NHS cardiologist. He is slightly concerned by my slight build in terms of invasive surgery and possible bruising of heart. Just wondered if anyone had anything to contribute to this? Thanks all, R

7 Years - Unbelievable
The EP found
atrial
flutter
and a partial re-attachment of one pulmonary vein, so I had a CTI Line burnt in and an RF ablation around the offending vein. I was unaware of the flutter and thought I had been pretty much “cured” by the first procedure, except for an initial week of wobbles.

Ablation for atrial flutter?
I’d be very grateful for your thoughts on my
Atrial
Flutter
as I’ve found it very difficult to get the advice I feel I need. (I hope this post isn’t too long, you might want to jump to the end.)

Constant anxiety since Atrial flutter diagnosis
Hi there. I was diagnosed with AFL 15 months ago after a visit to A & E when I woke up one morning with palpitations heartbeat of 140 and feeling like I was going to pass out. I had previously been told by my GP that I had an irregular heart rate but after a 48 hr monitor was advised yes it was irregular

Successful ablations?
I have AF and
Atrial
Flutter
. I’m now on verapamil and rivaroxaban and things have totally settled down for the last few months beside ectopic beats every so often. All I see on here is unsuccessful ablations so I am panicking about having something that might actually make me worse! Thank you

Ablation for atrial flutter - advice?
On 1 April, I went into
atrial
flutter
, very symptomatic: extreme exhaustion, exercise intolerance. At the time, they thought from my pacing data that I might have occasionally been in
atrial
flutter
before, but spontaneously reverted out of it.

1 ablation 3 cardioversions
Within two days after, I was in the ER getting an electrocardioversion for
atrial
flutter
. It worked. Like magic. I spent an entire year without afib or aflutter, taking only Eliquis most of the time. In August of 2023, I got two wasp stings and used an epipen.

cardiologist appointment soon but now with extra things to tell.?
My cardialive machine says possible AFIB with H/R 150 but the ECG looks more like
atrial
flutter
because it resembles a saw blade. According to images iv googled anyway.!!!

Resting HR on Bisoprolol
Hi everyone, I was put on 1.25 Bisoprolol in March when I had a heart attack and then told to take it twice a day in July when I went into
Atrial
Flutter
after open heart surgery, meaning I'm now on 2.5mg. My resting heart rate was mostly in the low 60s these last 6 months which I assumed was good.

Something new…..
A letter arrived yesterday advising they were episodes of
Atrial
Flutter
and occasionally some rapid ventricular response. The longest episode was 12 minutes.

Atrial Flutter?
About four weeks after my RF ablation my heart rate jumped from a very steady 60 to a very steady 135. ( I have an I CD that maintains my heart rate at 60) my EP called, said I was in
atrial
flutter
, and did a cardioversion the next day to shock me back into a normal rhythm.

Four years ago I had
atrial
flutter
. I had cardioversion and was put on blood thinners and BP meds. In the last few months it has returned as PAF. My ECG watch goes red every other day for hours or days. It can come on its own or be triggered by exercise.
