The irony of a diagnosis
Then I had
athletes
’
foot
and then dry eyes, bacterial vaginosis and then I found that I was starting to spend a lot of time at the surgery for one ailment or the other when I was usually healthy.

Food allergy and intolerance myth buster by NHS Choices
Hi everyone, the other day I saw this tool about allergy and intolerance on the NHS Choices website! If you get confused with the differences between allergy and intolerance, have a go with the questionnaire (it only takes a few minutes!): http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Food-allergy-myth-buster.aspx

Igg testing ---food allergies. Does anyone know about this. Is there different Igg antibodies? I searched but was unable to find that info.
I saw a Allergist yesterday. Unbelievable, the only dr. I found in the United States to try to help me. She listened to everything I had to say and she believed me. She had some answers, to why i felt so much pain after a blood transfusion, bad bug bite, etc... But guess what she trained in Europe &

Many fungal infections - underlying health issue?
Since getting
Athletes
Foot
I have also had 2 particularly bad episodes of thrush, the
athletes
foot
spread to my hand and what looks like my belly button and I now have a fungal nail infection on my big toe. Could the fungus be spreading or should I be looking into an underlying health issue?

Athletes foot??
Ive been getting what I think is
athletes
foot
on and off for a couple of months now. I'm not sure it is
athletes
foot
as I have it in the past and it was always insanely itchy but this isn't. This time it is the skin between my toes splitting open and bleeding. It is really sore and painful.

Food reactions. APS causes?
Hi, everyone. I'm sorry if this question has already been addressed here. I'm wondering if any of you with APS suffers with severe food reactions? I've read, with APS, that many people have developed food and / or environmental allergies when they never had any, or had very few, due to the autoimmune

The Results of My Food Allergy Testing...
OK...so some of it I knew ... some was a total shock. I had the Hemocode Test done here in Canada - 250 foods and food additives. I understand it's available in the UK as well. It tests for food intolerances, not food allergies. (Allergies manifest in the mouth, throat and lungs and react quickly - intolerances

Severe food allergies and the catering industry
Hellooo! I often go to conferences, or have been on a holiday (catered abroad) and I alert them to my egg allergy which is usually no problem in itself. Often at conferences there are other people with allergies or special dietary needs. The one thing that makes it difficult for the catering staff and
