CRGP injections side effects
Hello, I’ve been having chronic migraines for the last 20 months. I have tried taking Pizotifen, amitriptyline, and am still taking atenolol and venlafaxine. In June, I had a bi-lateral GON block which didn’t work. In August I was given my first dose of Botox. As Botox is given in two doses, 3 months

Seven years ago, I had a quintuple bypass and a heart valve reconstruction. I am on atorvastatin atenolol lisinopril tamsulosin finasteride. My lab work of these years has been kept in the green for the most part. I’ve been hearing a lot lately about how statins have side effects, and how cholesterol

Thoughts on Atenolol
I'm 50 yo male, had my thyroid removed in 2017 and also at the same time had my first episode of af which lasted 3 days. At the time my GP prescribed atenolol to help. I found it very effective at slowing my heart rate and settled on having 25mg a day but it was never able to end an af episode, only

Hand muscle loss and pain
Have GCAPMR and paroxysmal AFib. Down to 5.5mg pred and taking Atenolol beta blocker. 7 weeks ago I had what felt like signs of Carpal tunnel syndrome and Rheum nurse support team suggested on phone that's what it probably was, suggested upping the pred. I upped it to 8 for 4 days then came back to 5.5

AV node ablation with pacemaker implant
I'm an 85 woman with permanent AF since 2018. It started in 2011 and was ill-treated for many years. Now my new EP suggested having an AV node ablation as a last resort. However, he advised me that it is with some risks, the procedure, and also with a pacemaker implanted. I'm on Atenolol, 12 mg once

Reducing Nifedipine dose for the warmer months?
I am on 20mg x 2 daily Nifedipine for secondary Raynauds, I started in the Autumn last year. I know I need to consult my Rheumatologist about this but wondered if others do the same ? Now the weather is warming up, I'm finding it's very easy to go into overheat mode, in that my hands start to swell

Raynauds and Nifedipine
This last winter I suffered terribly with the cold. All my life I have suffered with Raynauds Syndrome and winters have always been difficult for me with regards to my extremities (fingers, toes and nose) being cold and often painful. Even in summer having warm feet and toes has been a rare occurence

Heartburn-question for the forum
I have fairly well controlled PAF, current meds are propafenone, atenolol and Eliquis. I suffer from occasional heartburn (more than occasional if I do something stupid like have fried onion rings with dinner). If I have heartburn come bedtime, no matter how many Gelusil I might consume, it's almost

Pain in hands
Why am I getting pain, numbness and loss of fine muscle power in my hands? Am on pred 6mg for PMRGCA along with leflunomide theical D and lansaprazole, and 50mg atenolol for AFib along with edoxoban. I had tried Angitil for a few weeks before being changed to atenolol. That made me feel dreadful but

Can saline nasal spray trigger AF!
This might seem a bit out there, but since having a statin added to my prescription (includes atenolol and Rivaroxaban as well as diabetic and BP stuff) I've had ongoing catarrh and congestion. Self medicating, of course, I thought I would try a simple saline nasal spray to see if it helped, couldn't
