new on Flecainide
So for the first six years I was on low dose diltiazem and one standard
aspirin
. for the last four years I was put on Multaq and Eliquis. Multaq kept me in NSR for about a year and then progressively became ineffective.

Elevated Cholesterol
Just wondering whether anyone else has elevated Cholesterol and just taking
Aspirin
watch and wait? Fortunately my Triglycerides are good. I tried Atorvastatin in 2018 but had to stop after 6m due to severe muscle aches. No doubt my GP will be chasing this up with me.

I have PV diagnosed 8 years ago and all good with venesection and
aspirin
only. Until my platelets and white cells started rising. I’ve been on interferon 95mcg for a year but with horrid side effects, however kept my blood in line.

Lanzoprazole
Just had 2 stents fitted.Given the usual cocktail of meds on discharge including
aspirin
clopidogrel and 15mg lanzoprazole. When consultant came for final chat he seemed a little surprised about the lanzoprazole. He said I could take it but up to me so now unsure if I should take it or not.

ET, platelets and stroke risk
I was diagnosed with ET three months ago and as I am high-risk (over 60, JAK-2 positive, another mutation and a couple of TIA episodes) I have been prescribed daily
aspirin
and weekly Peg-interferon.

Peg and rash
Treated with 500mg HU and
aspirin
until experiencing Amouris fugax (TIA). So then clopidogrel. Fatigue has always been my worst symptom. I changed to peg interferon in Oct 23 dose 45mg every fortnight.

Sugar and alcohol…?
We are overseas and I am only on
aspirin
. when we return the haematologist will begin me on Pegasus. I asked a friend who is a doc here if he would give me a pathology script to see how my bloods were going. The numbers had returned to the # when I was first diagnosed.

Rimegepant and Sumatriptan injections together?
I have a monthly Galcenezumab preventative injection and treat them acutely with a sumatriptan injection and soluable
aspirin
which I was recommended to take in a sugary fizzy drink (I use Lucozade). The effectiveness of this has diminished in that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Taken off existing meds put on new meds, Ramapril, Clopidogrel, Atorvastin, Lansoprazole and still taking
Aspirin
. Walk for about 20 minutes(10 min each way) each morning to fetch paper, and find I'm very breathless, not so I have to stop but very aware of my heart working overtime.

Atheroma
It’s a long story but I’ve had CT scan with radioactive dye which has shown some irregularities, he’s put me on atorvostsatatin 40mg ,
aspirin
and now a beta blocker. The thing is the consultant wouldn’t tell me if I’m at the low or high end of moderate stenosis, or the parameters of my results.

Where to begin……….
They wanted me to take Lanzoprazole when I was discharged but as I was not on
aspirin
I refused so I am literally taking the same medication as before my surgery. Not sure why this stomach issue has arisen but it is very uncomfortable.
