Should I drop from 100mcg to 75mcg?
Hi all, I have posted a few times with my story. My most recent results are after 6 weeks on 100mcg levo. I only got NHS results this time, no medichecks results although I do regularly monitor all the usual vits and they are where they should be. I follow a gluten, dairy and soya free diet. I supplement

Unexplained significant increase in heart rate, especially during exercise. With PVCs.
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has ever had a similar experience to this and can shed some light for me! I'm a serious athlete (boxer) and train about 3 hours a day - i'm really in tune with my heart rate etc. because I monitor my fitness and interval training very carefully. I had

non-compensatory ectopic beats?? Extremely worried!..
Hi Arrhythmia Alliance! Just found this community after searching everywhere for answers without any results. So I'm hoping for some answers here. I've had PVC's for as long as I can remember, and began to worry about them at a young age. I have done too many ecg's to count, holter monitoring a couple

Hi everyone!!
Hi everyone! I'm Kelley and I've been dealing with arrhythmia's for the last 19 years, after my dx with Graves Disease. I've gone from PVC's to pac's to ectopic beats. Normal ECGs and echo. They scare the heck out of me. Dr isn't concerned but there are times they freak me out. Looking fwd to talking

Hi my name is Wesam! I found this community while googling teying to find answers. Heres my story. Ever since I was a teen I can recall getting very rare instances of fluttering in my heart. They were sometimes during a stressful leriod and sometimes not. But they were once a week or month type of events

Downsides of Detecting Atrial Fibrillation in Asymptomatic Patients
https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/910482?src=wnl_edit_tpal&uac=232755DZ&impID=1954536&faf=1 This is interesting. It seems more information should be discussed with new AF patients before the current clinical approach is whole heartedly applied in all cases. Maybe scaring a patient is not the appropriate

Rash after I stopped Prednisoen to MTX
Okay, so my rheumy doc was no help. I told her that since phasing off my steroids (I was taking 40 mg for vasculitis/pulmonary sarcoidosis) while taking MTX I am experiencing morning nausea, mental fog, and now have a rash on my face, neck, and chest (sometimes on my arms and legs but off and on).

The cardiologist said my heart was fine. I am still having flutters in my chest, skipped beats, overall palpitations
Hello, I am a 24 yo male & have had an EKG, echocardiogram, and wore a Holter Monitor for 7 days. My cardiologist told me that my heart is perfectly fine & there is absolutely nothing to worry about. With that being said I am experiencing what i feel is palpitations several times a day. It mostly feels

'Hungry heart', causing PVCs, ectopics, etc?
Hi guys, I have AF but was - as many of us have been - successfully ablated around 2 years ago. I've had just one episode for 2 hours of full-on AF since my ablation, that came 6 days after my ablation. However, recently I've noticed a lot more activity and in particular I'm having a lot of positional

Anyone get premature ventricular contractions from gastointestinal problems? I keep havibg mucus, pus, yeast in my stool...and sometimes blood when I wipe. Colonoscopy was clear. Could it be haemorrhoids?

PVC's (extra heartbeats) without a pause and compensatory beat afterwards?
Been very stressed/ anxious lately, and I keep noticing PVC's without any pauses and compensatory (very hard) beats afterwards. Usually I get the "regular" PVC's with the pauses and hard beats after. But this is different. It feels just like a normal, slightly harder beat in between the normal beats

Question for those with multiple AF ablation experience
I had my ablation on December 3rd, ten years to the day of first being diagnosed with afib and tach. I had stopped taking my flecainide 3 days before the procedure and was in full blown afib when they put me under. They had me back on the flec before I left the hospital. I had been on flec for over

Self identifying type of arrhythmias
I've been told that my ability to feel almost every one of my irregular heartbeats is not the norm. One doctor made me look away from the monitor and tell him when I felt an irregular beat - didn't miss one. Anyway, since I am well aware when they happen I often try to figure out what they are but honestly

High heart rate momentary dips to 30s or 40s
In past few weeks, my Apple Watch shows rapid rise in heart rate when I go from reclining to sitting to standing position. Sometimes I feel a fluttering or pounding. The dip is just for a few seconds and then heat rate returns to normal (80s). This is happening more frequently. I have a joint replacement

Review article on photobiomodulation and the brain
Here's a review article on photobiomodulation (aka low level laser therapy [LLLT], 'red light' therapy, LED therapy). It summarizes the peer reviewed, published research on the topic - with emphasis on its use in neurodegenerative diseases and brain injury: Photobiomodulation and the brain: a new paradigm
