I know a lot of us taking B Complex so posting this article to hear your thoughts. I take one from cytoplasm where it’s 16mg, I wonder if this is ok 🤔 https://www.newscientist.com/article/2417665-niacin-supplements-linked-to-greater-risk-of-heart-attacks-and-strokes/ [ Link edited to remove potentially

I decided to try to go without steroids for the last two days and apart from the usual shoulder ach when getting up, so far so good, I am now worried about getting

Feeling fed up
I’ve had deranged LFTS on and off for at least 6 years now with Alt going up over 1000. Second time seeing specialist and apart from signs in liver biopsy pointing to AIH the scans don’t seem to show much. Don’t seem to get told much by Specialist and don’t seem to keep me updated. Had a MRCP on October

Drop in resting heart rate since pred
HiI have been on 40mg pred for suspected GCA for2 weeks now. ( actually was 60 in first week then dropped to 40 in second). I had a temporal artery biopsy yesterday so resting up and taking it easy. I wear a fitbit so am aware of my usual resting heart rate. It is normally between 61-65. When asleep

Oral care tip
Just to share in case it helps someone: My mother has very advanced disease and her tongue doesn’t move well; she has difficulty swallowing and her mouth is usually open, so she mouth-breathes all day. She is immobile and nonverbal and stays in a care facility. On her last trip to the dentist (a caregiver
