Potassium
I also have arrythmia and
aortic
stenosis
. So my breathing is bad. But some time back I was checked and found to have low potassium. I took a supplement and two things happened - the arrythmia subsided and the breathing got better. And I forgot all about it.

Premature cardiac risk
“20” percent of humans have elevated lipoprotein (a), putting them at risk for heart attack, stroke, and
aortic
stenosis
. Unfortunately, only 3/10 of a percent (.3 percent ) of U.S. primary care physicians ever test their patients, unlike physicians in the EU and Canada.

Should I have been informed that I have mild aortic stenosis...was told my results are normal
When I received the results it said mild AS which I figured was
aortic
stenosis
. It said mild AS probably due to small lvot. Few other places with mild regurgitation. This don't sound normal to me and feel like he should have at least informed me about this.

Aortic stenosis and angina
I will of course speak to the GP but considering I was diagnosed with mild
aortic
stenosis
would angina suggest it has progressed to moderate already?

I’m 67 yo, male, slightly overweight but otherwise good health but I have a severe

Advice needed.

aortic
valve
stenosis
(not yet had appointment to discuss this). He's on various medication for blood pressure, blood thinners and statins. He was took to A and E Tues. They suspected a small heart attack as his troponin level was slightly raised.

Help or advice please?
hi my mum has been diagnosed with proximal AF and
aortic
valve
stenosis
. She now has to wait for a cardiologist appointment which she has been told could be a long time due to waiting lists on the NHS. she has been out on blood thinners. Is there anything else she needs to be aware of?

Which type of aortic valve replacement is right for me?
I have just found out that I have severe
aortic
stenosis
and have been referred for a replacement valve. I am a keen climber, bouldering mainly. Should I get mechanical or tissue? Can you climb hard on warferin? Anyone got experience of this?
