Amlodipine caused irregular heart beats
I don't have high blood pressure and was told if I felt dizzy or faint to stop taking it as have moderate
aortic
stenosis
. 6 hours after taking the second pill I had palpitations, irregular heart beats and my blood pressure dropped to 99/57.

Feeling confused!
After hearing in a podcast about LP(a), I decided to get tested for it in view of a family history of
aortic
stenosis
. The results of the test show that I do indeed have higher LP(a): 127nmol/L. The LDL Cholesterol is 3.5 nmol/L which is a red flag.

newly diagnosed valve replacement
Recently diagnosed with severe
aortic
stenosis
. Saw the cardiologist 4 days ago. Need to have TOE, ct scan, lung capacity test, meet surgeon then put on his list for valve replacement. The waiting is driving me insane.

Is anxiety discomfort angina?
I have moderate
aortic
stenosis
and have suffered with very bad anxiety for years. I know this seems almost trivial compared to most other posts on this thread but for me it is troubling. Any thoughts would be welcome.

Thank you.
I have
aortic
stenosis
. Diagnosed in January 22. My symptoms are much worse now. I can't get into the doctors for nearly 3 weeks for an appointment to go for a check up at the hospital. I am trying to eat healthy and looking for foods for a healthy heart and stronger heart valve.

How to contact the admin in Cardiology?

aortic
stenosis
. Sorry about the title, wasn’t sure how to word it to be honest. I was under the same cardiologist for 8 years and she sort of got to know me!

CT Angio update, a most nervous patient lol
Just on way home from latest test, a CT contrast angiogram, took 2 injections of metoprolol on top of my oral meds to control pulse as I was in high anxiety mode even tho have had 2 previous other CTs in past 3 months, then at last minute reprieved from the gtn spray when they realised

Aortic valve replacement
However I’ve recently been diagnosed with severe
aortic
stenosis
. I’m due a valve replacement at the end of the month and possibly root replacement, however the surgeon is yet to make a decision on that until the day to say I’m terrified is an understatement.

Potassium
I also have arrythmia and
aortic
stenosis
. So my breathing is bad. But some time back I was checked and found to have low potassium. I took a supplement and two things happened - the arrythmia subsided and the breathing got better. And I forgot all about it.

Aortic stenosis and angina
I will of course speak to the GP but considering I was diagnosed with mild
aortic
stenosis
would angina suggest it has progressed to moderate already?

Should I have been informed that I have mild aortic stenosis...was told my results are normal
When I received the results it said mild AS which I figured was
aortic
stenosis
. It said mild AS probably due to small lvot. Few other places with mild regurgitation. This don't sound normal to me and feel like he should have at least informed me about this.

Premature cardiac risk
“20” percent of humans have elevated lipoprotein (a), putting them at risk for heart attack, stroke, and
aortic
stenosis
. Unfortunately, only 3/10 of a percent (.3 percent ) of U.S. primary care physicians ever test their patients, unlike physicians in the EU and Canada.

I’m 67 yo, male, slightly overweight but otherwise good health but I have a severe
Aortic
Stenosis
