Is this IBS/Collitis or something else?
I was wondering if someone could help me. I am relucant to go to my GP as my symptoms are 'on and off' and often just a bit of nausea and feeling that I need to open my bowel constantly. Don't want to 'bother' them (plus it's a pain getting an appointment) I am 42 and female and I often have diarrhoea

What caused my hypothyroidism?
I'm new here, and an American, so I hope you don't mind me posting here. I believe I've had hypothyroidism for about 13 years. I've always been a low energy person who gained weight easily, even as a kid. However, I did not get symptoms until my late 30s. My symptoms were extreme fatigue, oversleeping

I think I'm allergic to Synthroid ... Not sure what to do next
Hi, I know this is a UK site, but I'm hoping someone may have a bright idea to help me decide what to do next (sorry it's a bit long!). I posted a few days ago about my latest set of test results which showed FT3 @ 74% of range, but despite this I had a number of symptoms return or get worse. I've

Accident prone week.
I took
antihistamines
and used ice. For two days now I have felt unwell. Even more fog headed. Is this a lupus thing or general bee reaction. I react more and more these days.

Persistent Cough, Clear Xray Clear Spitum. Did A Round of Antibiotics
It was quite awful at first, as I could hardly sleep and the only way I could was by drinking
antihistamines
. My spitum was green. I had a round of antibiotics along with 3x daily nebulization of salbutamol. It did cease, but unfortunately I caught a cold on the last day of the antibiotics.

Possible vasculitis diagnosis looming...
I've had allergic rhinitis (stuffy/runny nose and a cough caused by post nasal drip) for a couple of years now, with no clear trigger and only minimal response to
antihistamines
. I also feel very tired a lot, but this could easily be due to the hepatitis as the fatigue is a long standing problem.

Is this an allergy? or some sort of long lasting cold?
Antihistamines
haven't helped much the few times I've taken them (usually just after I've had a bout of sneezing, they help keep it off for a while but never stop it for longer than an hour), and I've kept a list of what seems to set me off, most of the time it's either dust or plants.

Allergy relief helped me
I am new to this group, but wanted to let people on this site know that I take an antihistamine, (Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg ) one a day, I now find I get far fewer migraine headaches or attacks. It helped me, it may help you too. You can get it over the counter in lots of shops not just chemist shops

I do not do well with many of the
antihistamines
because of the side effects of them. I have not been officially told that I have COPD and CT scan of chest and there were several subpleural apial blebs. I guess if it was really bad news my doctor would have said something.
