Hi! I just joined. CIDP: Is anyone like me?
I've lived with atopic dermatitis and multiple allergies all my life, which are controlled with local steroids,
antihistamines
and emollients. My mother had ankylosing spondylitis. Those facts, and my good response to prednisolone, convince me I have a autoimmune disease.

Antihistamines
are doing nothing and neither is the steroid cream. Please give some advice what else this could be. They are flat pink spots that come and go and weirdly they go away when my body is hot.

Anti-histamines
I know we need to take supplements/vitamins away from Levo but wondered if this applied to
antihistamines
? I take my Levo early morning. Thank you in advance.

I carried on like this for a while as my GP wasn't much help, did bloods tests and prescribed strong
antihistamines
for the itching saying I suddenly had an allergy. I January I completed my quickest parkrun in just under 28 minutes which I was pleased with.

Sorry :( me again (post surgery question)
I did call the hospital and they advised
antihistamines
for 48 hours which I’ve done. They’re still there. No worse though. As stupid as it sounds, I can’t laugh. It hurts too much. My feet feel a bit tingly.

ET JAK2+ - Could this be progressing and how do I obtain more information/support?
The itchiness is beyond a joke (I am taking 4 times the instruction level of prescription only
antihistamines
just to function and not rip my skin off) and the tiredness is crazy.

Be Aware To Beware.....FYI
Antihistamines
: These are found in cough, cold, allergy, and sleep medications. When taking these medications, the elderly are at an increased risk of the following side effects: blurred vision, confusion, constipation, urinary retention, and dry mouth.

AI suggests anti-histamines with C/l
The relationship patterns among the identified adjuvant candidates suggest that the likely therapeutic mechanism(s) of action of
antihistamines
for combatting the multi-factorial PD pathology include counteracting oxidative stress, amending the balance of neurotransmitters, and decreasing the proliferation

Blood Tests
Hi, I have weird asthma, am on maximum therapy and wondered what effect high dose
antihistamines
and prednisolone have on your blood test results. Every time I ask my consultant I'm told it's irrelevant, also is our medication taken into account when we complete breathing tests?

Allergy / antihistamines after egg transfer? Other options?
Normally I would take
antihistamines
to take away the itchiness and help the rash go down but I remember reading about
antihistamines
could have an affect on implantation, I get that Google is evil at times and tells us lots of things to avoid but would rather be safe than left wondering.

Feel in limbo
Contacted Dr with these symptoms and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner rang back and has prescribed
antihistamines
. I had mentioned that over the counter ones hadn’t worked and I am finding it difficult doing an extremely stressful job.I had a blood test in Sept, the results did go back to GP.
