Too hot to run
Hiya, My last run was on Friday with 70 minutes / 8 km. I caught a sun-allergy during that run and had to stay out of the sun for a bit. Today my salve with sun factor 100+ arrived and some antihistamine meds, so I thought to risk it today. After work I put some of the sunscreen 100+ on, a cap on my

Allergies and Asthma
I do usually get hay fever quite bad but because I wasn’t really getting physical symptoms of my hayfever I wasn’t taking
antihistamines
for it. But I definitely feel like relatively mucus built in like my throat/chest.

My 50k (non race) report. 7hrs 6min. Very long, ignore if you want! 🤣
I'm definitely blaming Decker for this. In the Weekly Chat he said "I'm sure you could do 50k or miles with your experience" That combined with all the inspirational audiobooks I've been listening to of ultrarunners and much, much greater achievements than mine I thought 'yea, why not, why wait, tomorrow

Insanely itchy!
Hi All Not sure it’s a coincidence or stress of going back to work but I’ve developed an insane itch on the right side of my torso, it’s really inflammed from my intermittent bouts of scratching when I can’t bear it any longer! My bottom lip seems to be dry (and craving a drink is the only way I can

I can’t use
antihistamines
for it because they are making me very depressed and also don’t seem to be working- I seem to react to every antihistamine going and not found one that will help.

Ruled out allergies...so now what?
She said she wouldn't even recommend that I take
antihistamines
as they are very unlikely to make any difference to me. The truth is, I've never had other hayfever symptoms just the breathlessness. No itchy eyes running nose etc.

Advice please?
Hi all I wondered if anyone had any knowledge on the effects of stopping steroid nasal sprays for 3 weeks then changing to another brand? Would this restart asthma symptoms? I had a new asthma diagnosis and felt very lucky to become to be under control for 5 weeks! Taking : 100 fostair 4 puffs a day

I have tried OTC and prescription

Botox /fillers with autoimmune disease
Hi All, I had Cosmetic Botox for the first time a week ago, all has been fine and I’m happy with the results. However, I’ve been looking into having fillers and one on Doctors website he says he won’t do fillers or botox on anyone with Graves or Hashimoto’s because the autoimmune disease could cause

Anyone experiencing sore, swollen eyes?
Hi everyone, I’ve been diagnosed with seronegative RA and for the last year I’ve been getting red soreness and swelling around my eyes. I’m trying biologics (Cimzia didn’t work, now 10 weeks into Amgevita with no great relief). I’ve been given a few month-long courses of Prednisolone to manage flares

Any advice a month after diagnosis?
Read that this can be a side effect and treating myself with
antihistamines
, which just about takes the edge off. Don’t really know what to do next. Reply (0)

UP and food intolerances
Hey guys, I have UP and have recently been experiencing periods of fatigue particularly in the early afternoon and evening. I’ve never had any known allergies but I’m wondering whether high histamine foods might be triggering my mast cells and this could be related to the fatigue. Has anyone else had
