Hello fellow sufferers, Wanted to tell you about something that MAY help you, at least in regard to dry eyes. I was googling treatments to grow lush eyelashes, and read about castor oil. I've been putting organic cold pressed castor oil on my lashes and brows for about 3 months and they definitely

Regular blood tests for b12?
Hi. Is this such a thing? From reading through lots of the previous posts, if you’ve had b12 injections, it will show your b12 as raised. My gp practice said to repeat blood tests in two months (starting b12 next Thursday as that’s the earliest appointment they’ve got!) Then he’ll do intrinsic factor

Epidural injections
I have OA and RA plus disc degeneration, spinal stenosis and history of herniated lumbar discs and related back surgeries. After having a lumbar MRI, I am awaiting suggested therapy of epidural injections for back, hip and knee pain. My concern is the addition of these injections in addition to my current

How to get B12 injections more frequently?
Hi all, I went to the doctor about 3 months ago with a number of symptoms. They'd all just been adding up and I was convinced there had to be something going on. I was almost relieved at first when I was told there was in fact a possible cause for it all, B12 deficiency... I had some blood tests and

Advice please on latest B12 result and what to do next about possible B12 diagnosis
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all having a good weekend. I took everyone's advice on here and did a detailed letter to the GP about my diagnosis of B12 deficiency and lots of examples on why my B12 result could be coming back in lower range, problems with the IF test and why I'm showing no macrocytic anaemia

Hello, I am posting vitamin and mineral results for my daughter. She was diagnosed iron deficient 4 years ago - treated with iron infusion in 2016 but never fully resolved with continually low and sometimes below range MCV which coincides with periods and taking 1 iron tablet per day (used to be 3);

GP appointment
Hi I had my GP appointment on Friday which went well (I think) I am now taking 150mcg levothyroxine from 125mcg levothyroxine with a repeat test in 6-8 weeks. I have also had it confirmed I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and I need to avoid gluten and possibly dairy since I am lactose intolerant. TSH
