I'm new here
I've been on
antidepressants
and anxiety medication since I was in my late 20's. Though I believe they don't do much...I have never seem to get along with anyone for very long, my adult children have finally gave up on me. I've never really had any close friends.

Alcohol while on antidepressants
What experiences or advice do you guys have regarding drinking alcohol while on
antidepressants
? I realize that technically, the two shouldn't be combined, but most people I know who are on
antidepressants
still drink alcohol.

Starting treatment
In the past
antidepressants
have not been the answer for me as I seem to get every side effect going . I have been having talking therapy which gp recommended. I feel very afraid of starting treatment which I know isn't unusual but on top of everything else I don't think I can cope.

Mirtazapine Withdrawal 2019
Few weeks ago I decided I wanted to try coming off
antidepressants
and see if I could manage life without it. I was on 30mg of Mirtazapine for about 6 months. Doctor said we would taper 30mg - 15mg - 7.5mg and then 0 over the course of 3 weeks.

Lithium for Depression
I have heard that Lithium can affect thyroid function. I am aged 35 and have been taking thyroid hormones since aged 16 due to Hashimotos Disease. My psychiatrist wants me to trial Lithium to help my Depression in addition to taking the antidepressant I am on. Is this a good idea, or could it affect

Tips for anxiety? Has anyone been on anxiety medication while pregnant?
I've been known for having anxiety in the past(usually connected with my epilepsy) and have been on
antidepressants
because of it. My anxiety has come back quite bad and I don't feel like I'm coping, I'm not depressed in anyway but am very anxious about anything and everything.

I just changed my Antidepressant from Paxil to Wellbutruin. So far no changes. It has only been a week but I thought or hope it would make some difference.

Feeling pretty hopeless and down
I have got back into seeing a therapist and I take
antidepressants
, and actually just got my medicine switched. I have a lot of good things in my life, but I can’t even focus on anything like that, because of how emotionally scarred I really am and trying to deal with myself.

Advice need before I see an Endocrinologist
I take several pain meds,
antidepressants
and Ropinirole for restless legs. My doctor has now contacted the Endo and got me an appointment for Tuesday, what should I ask at the appointment because at the moment I don’t trust my self to deal with it properly?
