Chest infection and oxygen levels.
They said maybe it would improve with the
antibiotics
, if not l may have to go in to hospital. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Also my mouth feels dry all the time, sometimes difficult to swallow food.

Doxycycline antibiotic inhibits dopaminergic neurodegeneration through upregulation of axonal and synaptic proteins
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00210-023-02435-3 Doxycycline (DOX) is a widely used antibiotic that is able to cross the blood–brain barrier. Several studies have shown its neuroprotective effect against neurodegeneration and have associated it with antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, and anti-inflammatory

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing
antibiotics
) it’s not budging. GP suggested different inhalers (dry powder) but both contained lactose & I am allergic to milk. I’m at a loss what to do to stop it continually happening. Can anyone suggest anything please that might help?

Flare?
I have not been treated for any flares with these diseases but have gone up and down with prednisone due to infections that did not respond to
antibiotics
alone. The lowest dose of prednisone I was on was 2mg. I am currently on 7mg and not currently tapering due to having long covid symptoms.

Recovery from laparoscopic removal of Stage 4 Endo - bowel surgery - removal of ovarian cyst.
I’m still taking
antibiotics
that was given to me to prevent Infection reasons I’m ruling infection out. Today is the third day I’m feeling this symptoms and the worst thing is that heaviness isn’t adhering to pain killers .

lower rib pain. Help!
He gave me orphenadrine citrate along with paracetamol and some
antibiotics
. I dont want to take orphenadrine as google says it might give you hallucinations and a fast heartbeat. I already have a HR of 102 bpm maybe due to
antibiotics
so I am feared.

Long covid related asthma/lung issues
Last week I was on
antibiotics
for pleurisy. Never had this before and been feeling rubbish. I'm off sick and trying to get a wee daily walk but keep getting dizzy spells when coughing so it's scary when I'm not at home. Has anyone else had similar symptoms?

ICU HELP
He also got phenomena that are being treated with
antibiotics
. They said he should be fine but does have a bit of a fever. He has puffy eyes and is being given eye drops to keep the fluid out of his sight. The doctors think this came from his coughing.

Flare after two surgeries
For the past 8 weeks I’ve been on a maximum dose of
antibiotics
(Flucloxicillin) which I finish today 🤞. During this whole period I’ve been on 8.5mg Pred but suspect I’ve been flaring for at least a month.

Taste.
I have had so many
antibiotics
this year, with having chest infections and uti's, l am thinking that maybe that is what is causing it. I don't have any enthusiasm for meals, but know l have to eat to keep up my strength.
