Dental Surgery and bone graft needed. Will prednisone inhibit the bone graft from taking?
Hi everyone! I just had the most painful root canal on my right front tooth last week! So bad I was bodily shaking. I was informed that the infection has been brewing for quite some time and has caused an area of the bone under my nose not to grow around the root. The endodontist put me on an antibiotic

dental treatment and antibiotic cover
Why take the risk if you don’t have to for the sake of taking 50p”s worth of
antibiotics
? Endocarditis is a horrific thing and while the risk with dental treatment is low, it can happen. Take care.

GP doesn’t know where to send me.
GP really doesn’t know what to do with me, other than offer
antibiotics
. Which I won’t take unless the lab actually finds bacteria. Which hospital deals with Urology in London for MCAS. I need somewhere I can go to AE as the pains unbearable?

After much preparation: weight loss, exercise, supplementation, Quartet test (ERA, ALICE, EMMA), multiple rounds of
antibiotics
and multiple courses of probiotics, Immunes (Intralipid and Steroids - I was asked to do IVIG due to slightly elevated NK cells in the vagina and refused because I was afraid

An uncertain diagnosis
My GP has given me
antibiotics
and this now has lesssened. I am also a bit constipated, but not feeling discomfort from this. We are meant to be going to Canada Sept 6-22nd, but at present I could not fly.

Oncology ENT referral
It didn’t go away so I got
antibiotics
and then another course. When I was on holiday in France (early August), I had to go to the doctor. I got an iodine rinse to disinfect it and antibiotic ear drops. It still felt awful when I came home (Friday) so I went back to the doctor.

Yet more antibiotics.
He has issued yet another prescription for
antibiotics
so this is the 6th one I have tried since November 2021. I do not know what else to do except perhaps take a continuous low dose of
antibiotics
to keep this infection down. Has anyone else been in this situation and has got any tips.

Update after uMRD/completed antiobiotic
I was hoping that after I completed the round of
antibiotics
on Monday, that I would be seeing some improvement. Every day this week seems to be getting worse. My ankles are swollen, and my knees are also swollen. I have joint pain in the ankles, knees, wrist and shoulder.

Implantation failed FET 2nd round IVF with NHS
Before I talk to my dr again or look to do IVF privately, my questions are: -Have anyone managed to ask NHS to prescribe
antibiotics
for prevention of bacteria during your transfer? I foresee they won’t do test for immunity or take a biopsy of my lining for NK before my next FET.
