NK cell and sperm dna fragmentation test results
We've been on a break for the last 6months due to waiting times to change clinics. The next round will be our 4th round and have had bfn each time except round one which was a blighted ovum. All tests have come back normal (except low amh) therefore unexplained. We've just paid to have nk cell test

COSENTYX alternative??
I have been on 300mg Cosentyx since Dec, I also take MTX which my consultant reduced from 20 to 10 as she felt my neutrophils were too low. While I am better than I was a year ago I still seem to be in a continuous flare. First my hips, then as that dies down my shoulders, knees or wrists start up. I

New research on NSAID's and inflammation
From Rhonda Patrick, PHD. Can chronic use of anti-inflammatory agents paradoxically promote chronic inflammation through compensatory host response? https://www.foundmyfitness.com https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15922118/ From her newsletter: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs

Frustrated and hopeless....
I just wanted to vent and share with people who might be going through something similar. I am nearly 35 and have been waiting for a date for my excision surgery since November. They think my endo is now stage 4 and in my bowels, bladder and ureters. Despite being at the top of this waiting list

Infertility guilt
Its on my behalf that me and my partner have struggled to conceive. Those that are familiar with my posts will know I have low AMH diagnosed at age 27 and 1 failed round of IVF. I’m currently having awful guilt that I’m the reason my partner may not be able to become a dad. To the point where I’ve had

Latent arthritis or PMR
I have had PMR for five years, with classic shoulder and hip symptoms, initially and during flares. Never been able to get lower than 8.5mg Pred until this year. Now down to 6mg. Always slow taper - max 0.5 per month. Over the last month or so I have had increasing arthritis in hands. It is quite

Just prescribed Meloxicam by my GP for joint pain and headaches.
I take Eliquis and Amiodarone for my Afib and was wondering if anyone on here has taken Meloxicam while being treated for Afib. I've read a lot of conflicting feedback concerning the success/drawbacks of NSAIDs for people currently on an Afib regimen. Thanks for reading.

I had the worst pain of my life last night. I couldn’t get out of bed for 1.5 hrs!
I come on here sometimes to have a good moan. I’ve had RA since i was 21. (30 yrs). Plus Iritis & Glaucoma. I’ve had an awful time the last month. First i had a very painful flare of my Iritis. Deep throbbing, burning, aching in my right eye, very bad vision. Had to go to Moorfields a&e. Went at about

how are you doing on rinvoq
here we go again ...another therapy ...gah ...so scary all the side effects on this . I am wondering if any of you are on Rinvoq and whether you would comment on: 1. Were you able to still take NSAIDs? 2. Any clot or cholesterol issues 3. Any pointers to minimize side effects 4. What do

Just starting out...
Hi all, I'm just starting this journey, had some of the tests and waiting for consultation appointments. I've just joined this forum and finding it all tough to understand! I'm 39. Never been pregnant. My baseline scan showed an AFC of 6, endometrium of 5mm and AMH 1.5. The nurse said these are low

NSAIDs - anyone ? part 2.
I wrote , about a month ago , about groin pain from pelvic fractures ; prescribed naproxen , which proved a life saver for groin pain and RA pain in general ; rheumatologist instruction to taper off naproxen. I had a rheumatology meeting end July and went armed with all the information gained from

Numbers aren't everything in the land of CKD
Had my first appointment with a nephrologist today, thought I would post a followup because of the interest on this forum in GFR numbers. Though my GFR is still 50, even after increasing hydration , the doctor considers me stable, and actually not dehydrated. I have what he considers very mild kidney

How long did it take for your cycles to return to normal after ivf?
Hey all! I had my first round of ivf last month which didn’t work (low amh, 3eggs, zero fertilisation). This month I’ve just had my LH surge today which is day 30 of my cycle so ovulation will be day 31. I usually ovulate between days 18-22 with my earliest ever being day 15 and latest at day 24
