Planning ahead - looking into clinics and next steps before the current one fails.
Do you plan ahead for the next step and preempt the worst? Its tricky to know what to do. I am 40 in May. Obviously I am willing this next round to be successful and for this to be the end of my IVF journey. I don’t think it will be. I do think it is unfair if I am refused another NHS round but I

DHEA levels
Hello to all on this fertility journey I'm 47 (maybe too old but I've only had the chance to try late). So my ovarian reserve is low but I still ovulate and had regular periods until I started the IVF journey. Anyway, I was prescribed DHEA (abroad) in the hope to improve my AMH, what it has from 0.02

One final roll of the dice
We’ve finally made the decision (9 months after our last failed cycle) to have one last roll of the dice to try for a sibling (daughter born 2020 on fourth go at IVF/ICSI). We’ve done two rounds in the past 18 months, both of which we only had one embryo to transfer and my AMH has decreased a lot since

Low AMH downhearted 4th round
Hi, I have had 3 rounds of IVF in the past 20months and am now 35yrs of age. One resulted in a missed miscarriage at 7weeks and the other two I had nothing to transfer as we have also undergone genetic testing due to an issue on my side. We've been very fortunate in that these cycles were NHS funded

London Clinic for low IVF and recurrent MCs
Hi fellow warriors, After 3 MCs last year, I decided to do a num er of tests. Blood clotting issues came up (though not quite definitive) and very low AMH (1.75 pmol/l). We are based in London, so keen to start IVF. Overwhelmed at choices and what to do. I'm guessing each clinic has their requirements

Has anyone had funding pulled due to low AMH?
Hello to you all,🤗 New to the forum so hope this is ok & wishing you all the best in your journey I have recently had my AMH level comeback as 1 (for my age, 38, it has to be 3 or above for funding in my area) I then paid for two private tests, results came back as 3 & 3.6! Excellent I thought,

Hi all, at last I have plucked up courage to post on here..... Sorry it is a long one.Back in Aug '22 I suddenly started getting weak hands, swollen ankles and other achey symptoms. Xgeva Side Effects
Hi!! Has anyone had extreme pain in hips, groin and femurs caused by Xgeva? I first started with pain in my right side. So bad that I literally have to lift my leg with my hands to get into the car. That was about a year ago. My doctor doesn’t seem to think there’s a problem and doesn’t address it.

Suggestions for questions for gastroenterologist?
Good evening all. Hope you’re as well as can be. Following 4 - 5 months of nausea, epigastric pain, chest pain and palpitations etc I recently underwent an endoscopy. The consultant’s initial report stated ‘diffuse erosive gastritis’ and ‘generalised ulcerated mucosa’. I have some photos and have to

Clinic recommendations for low AMH/ poor reaction to stimms / recurrent miscarriage
Hi everyone I’ve just finished my 3rd IVF cycle this week and we are waiting to see if our 1 embryo will make it to blastocyst. I have low AMH (6.2pmol or 0.86ng) and been having poor reaction to stimms. So far we haven’t got any frozen embryos as we are PGT-A testing them due to recurrent miscarriages

Donor eggs
Hello, Recently me and my husband went to a fertility clinic abroad to investigate the cause of recurrent failure implantation. I had 3 IVF fresh cycles and 1 frozen transfer. Our genetic test results came back good but my AMH is very low (0.26- I am 41 years old). Doctor explanation for the failure

knee - replacement advice
I ve had terrible left knee problems for six years and last year was diagnosed with OA in the left knee joint. The consultant at a trust in London advised there was nothing that could be done for me other than replacing the joint. But at 58 he felt I was too young and advised to go away; lose weight
