Update on Earlier Posts about my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I had an appointment with the Orthopaedic team this morning. I had a very thorough examination of both wrists, hands and arms. Also an ongoing comprehensive two way conversation regarding my history, pain, problems etc. At the end he said, I think doing any further tests or conduction tests would be

hi I’m 67, female, as long as I can remember I get a cough after any cold virus, fatigue lasting a few weeks. I approached my GP a year ago as I was getting breathless during walking. I’m about a stone overweight. GP did chest X-ray, blood tests & ECG, all was ok. Fast forward to November I was having

update!
Hi guys, I posted a few months ago about my laparoscopic diagnostic surgery. They didn’t find endo however I was convinced that I had it regardless. I took all of your advice on getting an opinion, and I am now seeing an endo specialist instead of a general gynaecologist and wow you can tell the difference

SAR Form
Does anyone know about this Subject Access Request form or SAR? I have had some blood tests done, and the surgery now says I need to fill in the above form. In the past, I have always gained access to my data when I call into the surgery and ask for a print-off. Not sure why they're asking me to fill

Advice on Cataract surgery / narrow angle
Hi all, First I must apologise, I am new to Glaucoma and looking to get some guidance from ideally someone who may have had a similar experience. I am a 44 year old male who was diagnosed with narrow angles following a routine eye exam. My eyesight is pretty good and I only wear reading glasses occasionally

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those inhalers containing Salbutamol sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin. Some

Nasal Polyps
I had surgery to remove nasal polyps about 7 years ago and afterwards was told to use a nasal spray Fluticasone to help me from having anymore. So far so good but lately my pharmacy has had a problem of obtaining Fluticasone therefore my GP has suggested Beclomethasone instead. I have used this spray

my cancer comic…
I’m a graphic designer who has done autobiographical comics for around 16 years, mostly about medical stuff (detached retina, thyroid surgery, a bad fall, gallbladder surgery…). Cataract surgery
I often read the experiences on CLL shared by our group on HealthUnlocked, and it's reassuring. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013. After a long period of watch and wait (W&W), I was given only 2 cycles of chemo (BR) in 2019 instead of the planned 6 cycles due to severe side effects. Fortunately, I experienced

Does anyone know how long surgery is from your MDT meeting?
Hi warriors, I've just had my results from my MDT meeting. I've got to have a consent/discussion consultation and another with a bowel consultation incase I need a stoma. My question is, does anyone have a time scale of when they got surgery after the MDT meeting. I'm under Cambridge team. Thankyou

hi my daughter started taking Montelukast at the age of 4. She is now nearly 6. Over the last 6 months or so (possibly when she started it but not 100% sure) she’s become really negative and aggressive. I know this can be a side effect. But could side affects randomly start this far into taking the

Facial palsy recovery
Hi all, I had my AN surgery in 2018 and after that I did physio for a while for the facial palsy. They also used to give me Botox injection on my chin to tighten it, but I had reaction due to Botox so they stopped. After a year or so I also stopped doing physio as my face started looking a little better

Primary Peritoneal Cancer
I was diagnosed with PPC stage III C in April of 2023. After consulting with onocologist and gynecologist/oncologist it was decided to do 3 rounds of chemotherapy then debulking surgery followed by 3 more rounds of chemo. After first 3 rounds I had a very positive response with major shrinkage of tumor
