Diagnostic Imaging Not Yet Enough for Biopsy-Free Radical Prostatectomy - MedPage Today, November 27, 2023
Biopsy-free PCa diagnostics would be welcomed by anyone who has had one or more needle biopsies. This article in MedPage Today summarizes the current status for the several methodologies being studied as alternatives. Good info for those currently on AS or just watching a rising PSA. Hi to the most incredible and informative group. I have been on hormone injections every 3 months. Abiraterone 500 mg with food and 5mg pred. psa 0.8 has increased to 0.17 in 2 months. questions. Should I up Abiraterone to 1000mg to help lower psa or am I on the downward slope now? Diagnosed 2019

Locally Advanced PC - should I accept offer of docetaxel?
Hi I'm UK based, new to Health Unlocked and just starting to get to grips with the chats. I was diagnosed August '23 with locally advanced PV. Spread has occurred to a seminal vesicle and, very slightly, to a pelvic lymph node (Oncologist called it 'subtle') Gleason of 4+5. I immediately embarked

Enzalutamide + Lupron
There was a new study released last week to show Enzalutamide + Lupron for high risk patients after RP or Radiation. I had RP 3/22 and PSA rising to .14 by 8/22 when I started Orgovyx and then later Zytiga. I've been having neuropathy side effects from Zytiga and interested if this might be better.

How long has Olaparib worked for you?
I've been on Olaparib for 20 months and my PSA has dropped from 10 to 1.5. It has started to rise again and is now 4.2. I'm BRCA2 mutation. I'm wondering how long Olaparib has worked for other people. Thanks.

PSA increase nearly one year after triplet therapy (mHSPC), what's next?
Hello everyone, thank you for all your help for a year. My dad went from a high of 3103 PSA to a nadir of 44. He unfortunately couldn't reach a <1 result but it had stabilized for a few months after his docetaxel + zytiga + prednisone. Unfortunately his new result is 67 PSA exactly a year since diagnosis

Order of treatment?
My husband has been on Abiraterone for 5 months during which time his PSA has risen,. Before that he had had 6 rounds of Docetaxel which also saw his PSA rise. Having waited for 6 weeks to have a biopsy and get the results for neuroendocrine PC (he didn’t have it) his oncologist has said he can either
