MRI 3T results
This looks pretty damn good. Not sure if I am reading this right but it appears they can not find my cancer any more and my Prostate has shrunk from 150cc to 74cc. "PI-RADS 2 - Low probability of cancer (Clinically significant cancer is unlikely to be present)" My MRI in July 21 was rated PI-RADS -5.

Need for Cystoscopy?
Quick recap of my situation: RP in Sep 2019 for G9 w/SVI, LN+, and high risk Decipher. RT 8 months later along with 24 mth ADT (just finished). About 2 months ago, I noticed a drop of blood coming from my uretha at the tip of my penis. My urologist ordered a CAT scan (which was clean) and cystoscopy

Can a case be made for ADT vacation during a 4week radiation therapy?
I would like your opinions. It seem to me it might make the prostate cells more radiosenitive because they are dividing faster. I think I’d feel better during the Rad rx and would restart after Rad rx finished . On orgovx and zytiga. Bad idea? Don’t know? Go ahead? What do you think?

Neoadjuvant ADT - is a slowing PSA drop rate normal?
Hi all, first time poster here. My father (61, very healthy) was DX'd Sept 2021 with high-risk locally advanced prostate cancer with the following profile: G9, pre-op PSA ~58, MRI showing 1 possible pelvic LN mets. He had no symptoms and it came out of nowhere during his check up. From the treatment

ADT collagen/cartilage issues
Taking a pole I’m in my 4th year of ADT (eligard/Zytiga) and my joints are weaker..most Achilles issues. now both my eyes are affected..vitriol membrane humour separation leaving me with dancing Weiss ring floaters disrupting my field if vision. I’m quite myopic so they tell me it’s a risk factor. Wonder

VERU-111 (sabizabulin)
I was just reading about the very positive findings for sabizabulin in treating Covid-19 and remembered that several members had been in early clinical trials for prostate cancer (under the name VERU-111). https://fortune.com/2022/04/12/experimental-covid-drug-sabizabulin/ The reason it may work for

ADT & the gut microbiome.
New study from Japan below [1]. Not good, & presumably worse for the more efficient Abiraterone than Lupron, say. First, some terms: (a) "The α- and ß-diversity of gut microbiota" alpha diversity pertains to richness/variety beta diversity is based on a before-after comparison (b) "microbiota" versus

Career after PCa diagnosis?
I've been working for a large company as an IT employee. But, after being PCa diagnosed and all the treatments involved, especially the mind-bending ADT drugs, the quick thinking, swift information sweeping, memory recall and overall mental acuity seems challenged to say the least. So, I've finally

PSA rising while on ADT mono therapy
After 4 years of being hormone sensitive PSA is rising now while on single ADT (Zoladex). Is this when I become castrate resistant. What are the symptoms confirming this. Do you need testosterone to rise as well as the PSA to confirm castrate resistant. I asked for PET scan but might not be approved

Yet another new member...
Just introducing myself at the prompt of this website... I'm 62 now, and after having my prostate removed via Davinci, the nice folk who examine such stuff have pronounced that I am a stage 4a cancer patient. I apparently have lymph node mets, but none (yet) to bones or further in the body. Currently
