Greetings from Sweden
Hello , I am now writing because apparently my husbands PSA have risen during Adt-treatment. He has had Trelstar injections for 2 years now and PSA in August was zero, but now apparently around 2 checked by his GP. He has an appointment with his specialist in February. He feels fine without any pain

Getting Slightly Concerned
In November having been on ADT for 4 months and Xtandi for just 1 month, things were looking pretty good – PSA dropped from 13 at dx to 0.33 (although I was getting a little more pain from some bone mets). Then with December’s blood test, PSA has stalled at 0.34 and the bone pain continues to increase

First ever PSMA scan shows two small bone lesions
I recently posted about my father who had just completed IMRT and three years of Lupron (no mets seen on bone/CT scans). At the time his MO was suggesting adding Zytiga per studies showing its effectiveness with ADT at diagnosis for localized high grade cancer (he is Gleason 9). MO also ordered PSMA

Prostate removal after radiation??
Since diagnosis (2016) I've had chemo (taxotere), 25 radiation sessions on my prostate, along with regular shots of ADT (Eligard). I currently have a PSA of .7 I recently had a PSMA scan, and the only cancer in my body at this point is in the prostate gland itself. The scans were sent to my urologist

RADIOTHERAPY to prostate. Nearly finished chemo/doxetaxel, am on ADT injections PSA 0.11,
oncologist recomends 6 radiotherapy to the prostate in march. Gleason 9, PCA mets in hip DX July ish. .Would any one mind giving experience and opinions on taking radiotherapy. I've said yes, but know it's 50/50 for any benifit, but realise there's a possible price to pay with side effects short and

PSA and CT Questions -- 15 Months Following Diagnosis
I would appreciate your feedback on whether the recent small increase in PSA from 0.06 to 0.08 ng/mL for my 90-year-old dad is potentially significant. He is one year into ADT. Also, a CT abdomen/pelvis scan conducted yesterday revealed "sclerotic bony lesions". There was no mention of sclerotic bony

35 rounds of IMRT and in month 3 of 6 ADT after failed RALP. Glad to put the daily trips in the rear view mirror. Head to Mexico in a couple months to celebrate. Fingers crossed for a long time to any new BCR. My hats off to all you warriors enduring your journey.

BAT Question
I would like to know for those folks experimenting with BAT or actively doing so with their MO once your T rises again and then when you reinitiate ADT do you go through the whole hot flash cycle again? Is it the constant back and forth feeling of feeling great and then like crap? I am still hormone

Hoping for Urologist Recommendations/Referrals in the LA/OC CA area.
4 years post Proton Radiation and ADT. I’m now having a few urination issues. Current urologist seems stumped. Hoping to find a new urologist in the LA/OC CA area that might have more experience with post radiation issues and treatment. Any names would be appreciated.

I have been reading everything I can here, but still feel a little terminology and technically lacking. What would be helpful in helping new members is very very basic terms until they get up to speed. I have several questions. I am gleason 8, de novo, lymph node involvement in pelvic region, and one

Testosterone gradually going down while PSA gradually going up (I'm not currently on any treatment)
Hello folks! I checked my blood results today (and I have an appointment next week with the oncologist to discuss them.) Basically, I had an RP in the summer of 2019 with a Gleason of 4 + 3. I had follow-up radiation and hormone therapy for 9 months. Both testosterone and PSA went to and stayed

Gut Microbiome, ADT & Doxycycline
In recent years there has been increased awareness of the importance of the gut microbiome for good health. I stopped Minocycline when I decided to give Akkermansia a try. It's been a while since my Akkermansia supply ran out. I have just begun using Doxycycline & pondering the implications. One
