Folate timing
Good morning, I’m taking folate as we’re trying for a baby and I’ve read this is better than folic acid. My question is do I need to take it at a different time to levothyroxine? I take it 30 mins to an hour after, but I’m not sure if it’s like iron and should be several hours apart. Many thanks for

I am not sure yet if I have pernicious
anaemia
, or whether it is a gut dysbiosis problem as I do not appear to be absorbing nutrients well, including B12, iron, folate, and possibly others. And I also have low diamine oxidase which is used to control histamine.

Folate supplements with B12 injections
I am currently receiving loading doses (3 so far). I was low on B12 at 170 and low on folate (about 2) as well as macrocytic but not anaemic. Incidentally, I have low WBC but they are not sure if this is due to a bad infection a couple of months ago.I have been prescribed folate supplements but I didn't

methylcobalamin
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get a private prescription for methylcobalamin, given it's not available on the NHS? I am allergic to hydroxocobalamin, so have injectible cyanocobalamin 3-weekly, but it's not available at present and unlikely to be for at least a few months. It's almost 7 weeks

Iron test results - 6 weeks pregnant
Hello again My last iron test results suggested I was oversupplementing, so I reduced it to 1 Thorne Iron, alternate days. I have since found out I'm pregnant, but not sure that it makes any difference to what I'm doing...guess it will just need monitoring as we go, as iron is one of the things that

12 Day Trial
1.5mg methylcobalamin, 1.5mg adenosylcobalamin, 1mg hydroxocobalamin. SC injection 5 times a day including setting an alarm to inject at night. 50 mg B6 in the form of P-5-P or pain from peripheral neuropathy returns. Results of this trial are positive. Much closer to knowing what is most effective

Scoliosis Surgery at 75
I finally went through the Scoliosis Surgery that I had scheduled and canceled a couple of times. I had been on Buprenorphine for over a year and was RLS free. The minute I woke up from my surgery, that ugly monster showed up again. This time I could not even move, much less walk. It started very

Buprenorphine
Good Morning, I wondered if anyone could help with the following. I have had a call from my GP asking me to go in to see him about a couple of Liver Blood Tests I have had recently which show elevated SERUM GAMMA GT and ALT/SGPT serum levels. I want to be prepared in case he says that the Buprenorphine

Follow up to contacting my GP......
Some of you may remember that I had been in receipt of regular injections from my GP, but not regular enough, so I also sourced my own supplies. My prescription for Hydroxocobalamin was recently reduced to the standard 1 injection every 3 months. So I sent a letter to my doctor requesting they be reinstated

Magnesium type
I had my husband on Natural Calm which is the brand I take. His mood lifted, he was less tired etc etc. The problem is it affected his toilet habits! My friend said better to spray and take it trans-dermally but she's talking about Magnesium Chloride. Is that any good to take? I've only ever taken
