Amputation or drugs.
I'm a 57 year old who has had RLS for at least 20 years. I'm treated with ropinorol 2mg at 5pm and then again at 8pm. If I do not tak them at the right time my night is a living night mare. I have autoimmune hepatitis and fibromyalgia but for me I could bear the pain and the side effects to my liver

I cant sleep at night and always moving my legs as it feels like there is something behind my knee cap chipping away at it and the pain gets so bad I have even thought about asking for

Hi, I've just been diagnosed with this horrible condition after a week of no sleeping because of it. Doctor was great (although he refused to amputate my affected leg!), and prescribed medication...I've done some reading up on this condition and I'm looking forward to this program on C5 tonight..I think

My partner wants his leg amputated. Will doctors listen?
What can we do to get the doctors to listen and begin to consider an
amputation
before something awful happens?

She thinks in my case I am getting pain because the nerves in my pelvis are sending pain signals to my brain she told me to think of it like when a person has had an limb
amputation
but they can still feel it even though it is no longer there and that is what is causing pelvic back and leg pain.

Week 8 here I come....
Also driving 3.5 hrs on a regular basis to Wales to visit my Mum who has recently had a leg

Amputation procedures
Hi! I have seen many diabetic patients amputated when they get an injury on their legs. What is the fact behind this? Is there no other way to be done to avoid this procedure?

Are we back to the Middle Ages ?
It bothers me how the NHS can allow the situation to get to
amputation
stage blaming the victims of their negligence .Surely it is sepsis and poor heart monitoring .Are we in the Middle Ages? Where's the monitoring, CARE and research .

THE NHS the Grim Reaper ? An Open e - mail to the BBC & NHS re : NO TESTING for certain conditions e.g: prostrate cancer , backs etc
I am horrified that you appear to be colluding with the NHS who thinks health is an exact science allowing Drs, especially in A&E , to ignore symptoms not researching , with Dr Dawn, in Gloucestershire , who has probably not taken a hippocratic oath too , to collude .Have you not heard of sepsis ignore

TOE AMPUTATION FOR DISLOCATED TOE IN ELDERLY PATIENT
i would like to hear from anyone who has had this done. (Mine is 2nd toe) and Podiatrist says it's only solution for the pain and swelling - for the elderly reconstruction of toe is not safe.
