RSL - Pregabalin as a supplement to pramipexole?
After receiving lots of helpful advice from people on this forum, went to see my GP yesterday. I'm 65 and have suffered from RSL for 9 years. My condition has slowly worsened. I currently take 0.7mg of pramipexole, supplemented by amitriptyline (10mg) and quinine sulphate (200mg) each day. I explained

Advice Please
Hello, so here goes - I'm new to all this, so please bear with me - its a bit long winded! in 2013 I was initially diagnosed with thyroid cancer, had my thyroid out in 2 separate ops. (2013 & 2014) I had radioactive iodine. In 2016 it came back in my lymph nodes in my upper chest area - so had another

Not sure what to do. Achy legs...
Hi! I was diagnosed with endo about two years ago. I have amitriptyline for the pain once daily and also CBD oil. Occasionally my legs ache me so much. It comes over me suddenly and can last only a few seconds but it’s so painful. I’m thinking of calling the doctor tomorrow to see if there is anything

Right Testicle Pain
Hi, I have had right testicle pain for 10 years (since 2008) the problem started with just a dull ache in the right testicle that would come and go through the day, especially at work when I would stand for long periods. 2nd appointment with consultant & the goalposts seem to have shifted!
As I said in my 1st, rather anxious Post on this forum just over a week ago, I was pretty apprehensive about my 2nd appointment with the consultant today. At my first appointment the Rheumatologist would not listen when I tried to tell her my PMR history. So this time I took a printed sheet & asked

How Can I get T3?
Hi Having seen an Endo privately, my levo has been increased slightly and I have been advised to take iron for my hairloss, in the liquid form as I suffer from severe constipation. I was also prescribed Amitriptyline for my insomnia. After 3 weeks I have Not noticed any difference with my hairloss

Daith piercing👍🏻
I had the Daith piercing on the 7th, had a bad headache the next day BUT every day since virtually pain free. Is it too early to tell? I cannot believe an ear piercing could be the final nail in the coffin for my migraine. I am also on Amitriptyline, magnesium supplements and daily aspirin, currently

Can I take sertraline and Amitriptyline together?
I’ve been taking serttaline 200mg for 3yrs. This was for anxiety and depression. I told my GP the my Fibro pain was getting much worse and the exhaustion debilitating. So, he weened me off the 200mg of sertraline and put me on 10mg of Amitriptyline. He’s referred me to a rheumatologist, no idea when

Another bad day
Rainy day. Head pressure and irritability continues. A little bit of derealization/spaciness. Not sure 20mg of amitriptyline is an improvement over 10. Wish I knew what was wrong with me. Going on two years.

Intro-head pressure and extreme self awareness
I deal with head pressure and constant extreme self awareness. Past failures weigh on me more than they should. Hard to enjoy things and definitely not the normal person I used to be. If I get distracted or intensely focused most of it goes away. Recently started on amitriptyline for "tension headaches

19 years old, wanting to self inject B12??? - long post!
I'm 19 years old, female. In October 2017 I was diagnosed as being deficient in B12. I initially went to the doctors for headaches and he ran a complete blood test. My B12 count was 92. I've previously suffered from iron deficiency anaemia with my lowest count being 4. I'm also deficient in Vitamin D

Nortriptyline
Hi all, I’ve been diagnosed with neuropathic pain today and I have a few questions. Obviously the diagnosis is a lot to take in first of all. I was on amitriptyline for about 9 months previously, I took myself off it a month ago because the side effects were horrendous. My consultant prescribed me
