Anyone got any ideas about what I should do now?
I was diagnosed with RA in 2006 and later Fibromyalgia. Since then I've been on Sulfasalazine, MTX orally, Hydroxychloroquine, MTX subcutaneously, steroid injections. At the beginning of the year I was so bad I could hardly move, I was put on 4 months of Prednisone, and started on 50mg Benepali - which

Embarrassing symptoms
Although I’ve not been referred to a specialist my GP suggested that my symptoms pointed to fibromyalgia and left me to self manage. I tried Amitriptyline and gabapentin, neither of which I felt helped. I have managed living with the pain medication free however recently my symptoms have changed. My

Losing toe nails is it par for the course
Hi everyone, I have now lost two toe nails. Is this a symptom of hashi. Diagnosed in April this year on 100 levo. TSH 0.20 T4 19. I take b12 D3 K2 biotin slippery elm, s boulardii, zinc, betaine HCl, tumeric, selenium, magnesium, l glutamin. Should I visit the doctor or is it a waste of time?

Vulvodynia - new member trying to gain some insight with people suffering similar symptoms
I'm so glad I've found this site as I too have been searching for cases where vulvodynia seems to be just itchiness and not stabbing pain like a lot of other women seem to experience. I'm 30 years old and last December (2017) I started to experience itching. It was initially treated as a UTI then thrush

Omeprazole and digestive enzymes
I have suffered from GERD for a few years now but had great success phasing myself away from omeprazole onto digestive enzymes, containing betaine hcl which completely resolved the issue. I suspect I have low stomach acid due to Hashimoto’s. Fast forward a year and I’m now expecting my first child (

Will I ever feel normal again?
I am a having such a bad day - feel so anxious, crabby, and frustrated with all of this. I’m on 75mg of Amitriptyline plus some other medications that I am tapering off of. I am seeing a new doctor for medications and she just doesn’t seem to care. I miss my old doctor but he will not take me back

New Treatment Option
Is anyone familiar or experienced with this “promising” new option to treat depression and suicidal/dark thoughts? Ketamine Nasal Spray? I’ve researched it a bit but I’m skeptical bc it’s not FDA approved yet but my doctor says some pharmacies sell it right now. If anybody knows about this, please

Made a decision to have further tests done
Hi all. Following a horrible week of symptoms I've finally decided to take charge of my own health and have further tests done. I have benefitted massively from advice here so thanks to everyone who has so far responded to my posts. It truly is comforting to know you're not alone, not going mad and it's

Ibogaine and Neuroplasticity
Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to compensate for injury and disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment

Supplements - does this sound right?
Firstly thank you to those who have replied to my posts so far. I have spent the past few weeks reading a lot and getting my head in a muddle but I think I have a plan. As my doctor is not interested in my physical health I guess it is up to me and although I don’t like taking any type of pills I think

Treatment resistant depression
Hello. I have struggled with depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD due to trauma when I was age 11. Except for my two terrible feeling pregnancies which gave me amazing kids, I’ve been medicated since then and I’m currently 42. I’m also married for 19 years in an up and down marriage. I’ve tried years

Hi. I am 44 Years old. Since i was a child i have always been itchy, I would tear myself raw in order to stop the itch. In my teens i found that Piriton kept this at bay most of the time. But this is only the start...... In my twenties i started physically suffering in multiple places. My right hip always
