Not sure if its IBS?
Over the last couple of years I've been suffering constipation which I put down to taking Amitriptyline for chronic migraine. I would go 2-3 days without a bowel movement and could only get things going again with Laxido and Senakot. I can remember the first time I felt a sharp left sided pain as it

Sciatica flare up?
I had a L5/S1 lumber discectomy in 2013. Since that have had constant back pain. Before the operation all pain was in legs . I’m currently waiting for a nerve root block injection. In the last 2 weeks. I have been experiencing considerable pain in my legs. My feet feel cold but I can still feel them

A DJs Story.
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved music, it fills my heart with joy. I love all types but especially house/dance music, I was a teenager during the early 90s when the scene exploded and became something fresh and new. In my early 20s I learned to DJ - all vinyl and I loved it, I became very good

Jittery
Does anyone feel jittery after taking prednisone. I can’t think what else it might be. But I take amitriptyline at night to help with back fracture but low dose 10mg. I also get palpitations. I can’t seem to sort any of this out. 😢

I have Fibromyalgia and FND and recently fell injuring my back and pelvis more. Im already maxed out on Longtec 120mg daily and Duloxatine. It's become apparent that the current treatment isn't working for me and just offers a slight energy burst. I'm getting MRI tomorrow. Is there a particular pain

Fibromyalgia?
Hello there! I’m Sumaya, 25 years old, new to the group, trying to understand this fibromyalgia, haven’t been diagnosed in the UK yet, but diagnosed in Turkey. The pain has been going since October 2020, last week I had a telephone consultation with a physiotherapist, after going through all my symptoms

Hi folks hope your all well. I'm still waiting on news of my operation technically should have been next month but will have to wait longer due to the backlog I feel the amitriptyline was dulling the pain to start with but pain creeping up again so might need to move up a dose. Got videocall with Painmanagement

Surely this can't be right
Hello I am currently taking clonazepam half a tablet every other night as my GP was concerned about the addictive nature of the drug. It does help a little but still up every night 2/3 times but managing to get about 5/6 hrs which is a lot better than I've had at other times. I had a private neurologist

Amitriptyline with co-drydamol
I’m in a lot of pain at the moment and have just cried my eyes out as I’m feeling so useless. I now also have osteoarthritis in my right hip and knee diagnosed last week, but they also found a meniscus ligament tear in my inner knee. I have been told to double or treble my 10mg dose of Amitriptyline

MPN and amitriptyline
Should a GP prescribe amitriptyline to a patient who is already suffering from fatigue due to MDS/MPN? I have cut down to taking it every other day (at 6.0 pm) but I'm still a zombie most of the time. I may be elderly but I still have things to do.

Skin breakouts and hair loss
I am 19 yrs. old and I have Behcet’s. I am taking dapsone, colchicine, amitriptyline, folic acid, leflunomide, keppra, and Infliximab (every 4 weeks, 900 mg). I wanted to know if any one has random skin breakouts on their face, as well as have skin issue on your bottom. As well as hair loss. I did some
